This.
My vote has changed parties but unless the Tories had did an almost complete ideological 360 I cannot imagine I'd ever find their manifesto appealing. They are, in general against most things I like and for many things I dislike.

This is why, for instance, I'd always be anti BNP. I am also anti Liverpool (although far, far, far less so) but that is just stupid tribalism. My hated of the BNP (and the Tories) is not.

Not sure you'd still be voting for them if they ended up back where they are.

The pound has been weakening all day as the polling day news has favoured Labour, but in the last hour it has strengthened sharply. Some hedge funds and investors run their own exit polls so it could be an indicator of what they are seeing.

I haven't seen any other news which would move it.

I remember this exact same spin on the night of the referendum

As you can tell I have already started drinking! Woop woop!

There's a feeling we have done enough to flip MK North & South but we won't know till about 4-5am. They called our group in the afternoon to try and get some down to Uxbridge as they think Johnson can be toppled there. None of us went but they got some from London was the news later.

I have a friend who works at the council. She's been at the same polling station for about 6 elctions including local and she said it has never ever been so busy. I think there's going to be a big turnout but unfortunately considering how blue tat constituency is it might be so for both sides so lets hope we've done enough to swing it.

I came home and gave my child a kiss while sleeping and it brought a tear to my eye thinking what tomorrow could bring whichever way it goes.

Tiring day. Off to bed after the exit poll!

There are many possible reasons but the private exit polls are no spin. I know some people personally who made a hell of a lot of money off them that day.

EU referendum is actually something you could privately fund an effective exit poll on, as it's just popular vote. And they still fecked that up.

No one knows anything til the exit poll.

They were shorting it weren’t they?

Interesting...from the Beeb live blog

Edit: ffs that's the current one isn't it? Sorry folks

I thought they were under review by the FCA. Brazen to try the same trick again, hopefully they'll be stamped out this time.
