UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - 4/3/25 - 12/3/25

You've got a taker who's scored three penalties in a singular world cup final... and you casually give it to Vini....why?

How did he feck that so badly, unbelievable.

Why is he taking them instead of Mbappe anyway

I've needed to go for a shit for 20 minutes. Can't tear myself away from this though.

So many more games going to extra time now, and they’re always boring as feck. I’m not saying I miss away goals, but there has to be another answer.

Real Madrid still have that Liverpool-esque ability to snatch a late goal, wouldnt count them out yet. Atleti need another.

Why do people pretend they don't love extra time and penalties? It's more football and the chance of a shootout. Win win.

Some one-sided ties, at least in terms of scores:

5-0 Bayern
4-1 Barca
4-1 Inter
9-3 Arsenal (not finished)
6-1 Aston Villa (not finished)

It’s 30 boring minutes most of the time. If it was up to me I’d do the shootout straight after the final whistle, then have the 30 minutes extra time. Gives those who missed a chance to redeem themselves, and there’s something to play for in those 30 minutes as one team is chasing the game.
