UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - 4/3/25 - 12/3/25

Well he(attacker/striker) claims to be fouled and asking for the penalty, the ref says no penalty, surely it means he was diving?or exaggerating contact?
Players claim corners and throw ins they know they don’t deserve, should they be booked for that?

Not every bit of contact is a foul. So it isn’t as binary as foul or dive.

Commentary dull as dishwater. Ball hitting the post in the last 10 mins of a knockout game and he’s as flat as a pancake.

That’s for an offside no? Because there sure as shit wasn’t a foul on Van Dijk…

Happy for Kompany, would’ve been under scrutiny if Leverkusen put you out here I guess even if he wins the Bundesliga. Two wins against Leverkusen gives some nice breathing room after the previous three games against them this season.
He still had full support because he has the teams full support and the management likes what they see. He is expected to win the Bundesliga, which they are on a very good path to do. Talking about breathing space is giving the wrong vibes, it ain't as oof he was on thin ice.

PSG have been a non-entity in an attacking sense this half. There's only one real winner here.

Not with the Bayern brass but rather German media, at least that’s how it’s been reported in Belgium. More the appearance than anything maybe, that he’s capable of winning big games.
