That's fair enough. Bayern had plenty of good positions but didn't really look like scoring I felt. A lot of long range attempts. You looked incredibly lethargic.

Impressed by Brügge, they made short work of what I consider to be a quality Atalanta side.
I havent seen the game but i had Atalanta as the dark horse of the competition after what i saw in the El final last year against Leverkusen so im very surprised.

Var were never pulling that back unfortunately, once the ref missed it that was that. You guys were by far the better side, even though Bayern had their chances, I thought it was your night.

We went toe to toe with a gigantic club away from home.
We consider ourselves a huge club ( others may disagree ) it's the league that holds us back. 3 million in tv revenue compared to EPL. Its so hard to compete in Europe. We've had a very good campaign though.

It's a stupid tie. Support for Palestine and their fight for freedom isn't equivalent to "supporting Hamas"
Bruges played well but that first half was pretty much a perfect storm for them. Every counter attack resulted in a goal while Atalanta missed a few big opportunities. But haven't they been stumbling in Serie A as well lately? You could see that they obviously have quality on the ball but in terms of intensity definitely a tier below the top teams in Europe for me.
Bruges is definitely not without a chance against Lille or Villa (who they've already beaten this season) either in the next round though, the CL seems to get the best out of them these last few seasons.
