UEFA Champions League 18/19 Matchday 5 fixtures (27th - 28th November 2018)

For all the shit Neymar got in first leg, he is running this game. He is class above the rest.

World Class defender Van Dyke with another cardinal sin of defending, maybe it will take 10 of these mistakes over a season for people to stop overrating him since he's well on his way to that.

Inconsistent cnut of a ref is that Tuncar

What did Liverpool expect with that midfield three?

Is Liverpool dependant on goal difference or is it that aggregate result thing?

if tied on points, the following tiebreaking criteria are applied, in the order given, to determine the rankings (Regulations Articles 17.01):[2]

  1. Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
  2. Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
  3. Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
  4. Away goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
  5. If more than two teams are tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams;
  6. Goal difference in all group matches;
  7. Goals scored in all group matches;
  8. Away goals scored in all group matches;
  9. Wins in all group matches;
  10. Away wins in all group matches;
  11. Disciplinary points (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points);
  12. UEFA club coefficient.

PSG player's celebration was quite intense. For all the talk of them not being a tight-knit team, they expectably crave to succeed in the CL.

Don't know if Pool are helping themselves by playing Lovren at CB, it ruins a bit of their attack with not having TAA. With Milner and Henderson in midfield, there's a lot of creativity lacking in the side.

They're going to struggle to keep the ball unless they put a ball carrier in midfield. Ox was the man last season, dunno how Keita's been this season.

He's still better than any other CB playing in the PL right now.

Surely you can see the positive impact he's had on our defense since joining? The numbers speak for themselves.

He's having a mare in Europe though

Hope PSG can hold on to this and knock Pool into the Europa. This has been one of the most entertaining CL groups in years.

GD will play a big part if Liverpool lose tonight.

It goes on head-to-head as far as I know. So we'll have to beat Napoli by 2 or more, regardless of what they win by/we lose by tonight.

This is shocking, I knew soon as soon as I saw that lineup shifted backline to accommodate Lovren and that pedestrian midfield 2016 throwback. It's about time Klopp shows some tactical prowess tonight, i'm yet to see it in these difficult european games. Becoming a theme when we start slow, and concede early that's it, goodnight.
