UEFA Champions League 18/19 Matchday 3 fixtures (23d - 24th October 2018)

Looking at the highlights of the PSG-Napoli tie, Napoli deserves a lot of praise for their perfomance while Paris comes across as the ulitmate flat track bully, tearing their league apart while dissapointing on the International stage.

Was our best player on the weekend. Glad to have someone with fresh ideas & energy going forward.
It’s a slightly different postion but he’s doing for us a combination of what Ox and Coutinho did last season. Hopefully Lallana and Keita getting fit will help with the creative workload in midfield.

Napoli have been impressive. If Inter manages to get anything off Barcelona over these two games that would be great for them. But realistically if they beat PSV at home they are through.

Napoli was much more impressive in the previous seasons

Very good first half by us. The leading goal by Witsel was a deflected shot so a bit lucky on our part, but we also invested more offensivley and had two additiional good chances. Madrid the expected defensively well organized opponen, but we were at least just as solid, only allowing a half chance in the whole half. Witsel, Hakimi, Pulisic and our two young CB stand out in an overall well performing team. Atmosphere is worthy for this big game. The ref is giving us nothing but hopefully it won´t matter in teh end as we are usually stronger in the second half.

Hakimi is a speed demon! Great speed dribbling with the ball as well.

How’s Jakob Larsen doing?

Bonsoir!

You see a good PSG?
First 20 mins were good with 7 shots in excellent situations, at this point we're ususually 2 up. Overall I thought the first half was balanced, just with more efficiency from Napoli in the last third.

Very soft pen for Mane but I’ll take it.

It's sad to compare Neymar October 2018 versus Neymar October 2017.

Yeah he's been poor today, maybe the early knock but I'm sure he can turn it around.

Says the fan from the German league? :D FC Bayern seems to be doing ok even though they have exactly the same issue to deal with. They’re in the «abyss» now but will win the league by 20 points.

How is Inter and Icardi doing? I'm watching Napoli.

Inter were shocking in the first half, Barca playing very well.

Inter looking more lively in the second half, but Barca should've scored at least another goal or two.

Looks like PSG might win this game, they look much better than Napoli, who look tired already, in the second half, even if the goal was lucky.

Yes because Cavani has to score against his former club.

PSG 2-1 Napoli

Real Madrid need to recruit in Dortmund next year, lot of impressive youngsters there.

Cavani looking rough out there though for the last few games, definitely in a rough patch. It would be a great way to snap him out of it.
