UEFA Champions League 18/19 Matchday 3 fixtures (23d - 24th October 2018)

Young Boys:drool:

YB drawing against Valencia is very good. We can take a big step to the knockouts with a win tonight.

2-0, but far from convincing. A more competent opponent could have scored a few themselves.

Great result for us that in terms of qualification out of the group

Already hit the first post of the night

What was that free kick from Pjanic

City 1-0 up. Juve/United match looking like men vs boys.

Bonucci's passing is :drool::drool::drool:

Donezk pretty helpless. 2-0 City

Hoffenheim equalized minutes after falling behind, good.

Typical German non-Bayern performance so far. After a good start from Lyon, Hoffenheim are now playing extremely well but in the end they're too inexperienced and naive. They've had like 7 huge chances in 10 minutes, but they don't score from any. Goal for Lyon happened after a ridiculous mistake in Hoffenheim's build up play.

The passing capabilities of the Juve team, especially in deep midfield & defence, is pretty damn impressive.

That's what happens when you give a team so much space to control possession. Mourinho himself said about Rooney's passing ability 'My passing is also amazing without pressure'.

Our 'pressing' would make Huddelsfield look like a fantastic passing team.

Incomprehensible really after going down a goal early. They aren't going to turn off like against genoa in such a game. United's only chance is to be aggressive and press them high. Napoli was the one team to give them any sort of trouble so far, and they did it through their pressing

How are Madrid only just the one goal up against Plzen??

Cracking save that. DDG having a very good game.

Martial has lost possession about 20 times so far this game. United fans always say that Mourinho has been too quick to bench him after a bad performance and that he never gets a run of games for that reason. There is validity to that perspective but this is the kind of game that makes any manager want to staple you to the bench. He is killing their offense.

Hoffenheim idiots. Turned the game around but now concede the equalizer.

I think that's the third time tonight the commentator has called Pogba Lukaku or vice versa

Lindelof has had a good game.

Handball by Lyon not given.
Header after a freekick goes inches past the post. Hoffenheim do not have luck on their side tonight.

Juventus fans taking over OT, chanting Mourinho piece of shit....wow

Hahaha Ajax with the most fumbly (whats the word Im looking for) goal in the dying seconds to win it.

Lindelof & DDG standouts for United, who were arguably the better team in the second half, but seemingly just don't want to shoot at times. Young wasteful on the right. 1-0 a fair reflection

Allegri is going to surely rip into Juve for that last 20 minutes. Just a lot of careless giveaways when they really didn't have pressure on them. Should be qualifying 1st comfortably though.

What the feck is wrong with Alberto Undiano Mallenco? Didn't know he was such a shit shit ref.

Or that they should respect respect respect his three PL titles, who knows
No, it was directed at those gobbos, so the treble. Still, i find it very strange to have the away fans chant insults at the home side manager and it being so loud and clear. Were there United fans at the stadium tonight? It sure felt almost like a home game for juve most of the time. Very strange for an english stadium
