UEFA Champions League 18/19 Matchday 2 fixtures (2nd - 3rd October 2018)

Mertens on the bench, pretty much our full strength team.

Probably means Henderson starts vs Man city which isn’t at all ideal.

Is Ancelotti going with a 3-5-2? Interesting.

Not sure Napoli have used that formation this year.

Just imagine if Lukaku was finishing like Mbappe tonight. How many chances has he missed?

Glad to see Keita get a start. Will be a great game to judge him on.

A bucket-load
Which is why I think we are a bit too harsh on our finishing. We often hear things like "player X won't miss chances like that," when in reality they do - and often. It's our inability to create chances thats the true issue.

I agree, but with Lukaku, his all-around game leaves a lot to be desired at times, so if he's not scoring goals, he doesn't offer anything.

I'm sick of this hand on mouth trend. No one fecking cares you twats.

Hey look its Marko Marin!! the German Messi

Is Neymar one of the best FK takers in the world?

Remember that one vs PSG when Barca won 6-1 in the return leg? Was as perfect as a free kick could be.

Edit: This one

Red Star Belgrade did great job against Napoli in Belgrade. Here, imo first 20 minutes were ok. No one expect good result in Paris. This one is horrible, of course..but playing with best european teams again after 26 years, scoring goal against PSG..I'm satisfied and proud.
My eyes were full of tears listening our fans song after Marin's goal.
We are living our dream.
Congrats to PSG..against us they look like they came from the other planet..

Schalke with the late lucky punch? 1-0 by McKennie after a corner, only a minute left

They did it, great away win for Schalke. Of course it had to be a standard again, they really don't create much :D

Big, big night for Keita. Be interesting to see how he holds up in a game as difficult and important as this.

So Dortmund is not on DAZN, just like Hoffenheim yesterday... the current market situation is an abomination, and everyone responsible for this situation should be slapped in the face with a large fish.

Is there a reason why all those lower tier seats are empty?

If Barca are up to this, they win this quite easily. If they are not, it could go either way as any CL-game away from home. Tottenham-fans will of course welcome themselves to the big-time if they do fetch something :boring: No Eriksen makes a difference, Alli not so much. Eriksen makes this team tick, but there is still guile and speed in this line-up with Moura and Son.

What the hell has happened to Wembley? Been some kind of concert in the middle or something? Probably a question I would get the answer to if I read posts above me....
