UEFA Champions League 18/19 Matchday 2 fixtures (2nd - 3rd October 2018)

Psv was really unlucky tonight. Lost 1-2 after being 1-0 up by a beautiful goal from Rosario.

Inter goalkeeper should have gotten red for a handball outside the penalty box, for the first inter goal Icardi was slightly offside and psv also hit the post and the inter goalkeeper (who shouldnt even have been on the pitch anymore) made a really good save on Malen his overhead kick.

Both Inter goals were also mistakes from the Psv goalkeeper...

Spurs or Psv to decide who will end third place.

yes I agree, Inter played a good game but was very lucky, it is incredible that Handanovic was not red carded supposedly because it was not a clear goal chance. Having the goal without the keeper apparently is not a good enough chance to score for PSV  and Icardi goal seemed offside

Crazy to think United are the best performing English team in the CL hahaha goes to show how things are different in Europe and how much more formidable leagues like Serie A and La Liga are than Brits give them credit for.

so far all English teams have been extremely disappointing IMO, with the exception of part of Liverpool's match vs PSG all the other games I have seen have been from average to really bad. I am very surprised by Spurs bad performances, but that might be justified by injuries. Liverpool's performance yesterday night was simply ridiculous and not worthy of the EPL leaders

All of that is true

But also, Inter dominated most of the game and created enough clear cut chances to score 5 or 6 goals. They were the better team, replay that game 10 times and inter have iced the game in the first half alone at least 7 times. The first half was was basically a shooting practice for them

not sure that would happen. It is true that Inter played a good game and produced good chances but the same can be said of PSV that in the first half had 3-4 clear chances on counters, the first one wasted on a counter in open field 3 vs 1 because the moron from psv managed to pass the ball to the only inter player present in his half, without considering that Inter should have been 1 man down when it was still 1-0

Is there a better partnership than Messi - Alba combination? The ease with which they find each other is just unreal. Messi just floats the ball to left wing and there is Alba running down the wing. Alba just casually passes the ball into the box and there there is Messi at the end of it. It's just unreal how good they are.
