UCL Round of 16 - First Legs - Feb 18 - 26

I like how Barcelona almost never cross the ball, even in promising wide positions, instead retaining the ball to engineer a proper opening. They probably realise it just gives away possession for the sake of a percentage chance.

And no quoting me if they score from a hopeful cross!

David Moyes does not like this.

An extra referee inside the area and they still get that call terribly wrong. Negredo didn't do a thing wrong.

City need to start getting stuck into these cnuts. Showing them too much respect. Not enough crossing for my liking in this game either.

With their wing backs pushed so far forward, we'd destroy this Barcelona team with the amount of times we get to the byline
Valencia and Young against this Barca side

If you compare the atmosphere with our Real Madrid tie, it's quite clear who is the bigger team ...

I never got the whole bottling thing with Leverkusen. So they just morph into shit once they hear the Champions League anthem?

Yeah somehow they do. Best example were the two games against us, they couldn't string two passes together and looked like a relegation candidate rather then a team that plays for CL spots.

Ever since the Barca game they seem to piss themselves once they are up against super star players. They probably already asked Ibra for an autogrph in the player tunnel.

Should have maybe took a shot earlier, but good play by them both up until then.

This match is so Barca in a nutshell. Dominate posession for 15 minutes, create very little, then look vulnerable to a hoof long ball to a good striker

Still, fun to watch. Bet a bunch of City supoprters who mocked us for not being able to attack Barca in the CL finals are re-thinking that view now.

The fact I was of course ripping the piss went over your head...Didn't it? :D
Whoosh.... so was I. :)

Didn't know the what the code for the lick lips smiley was though so it wasn't as obvious.

The home support is shite. Really shite, playing barca at home the place should be belting out noise. Dead at the moment it is.

Just that we faced probably the best team in club football history and they aren't anywhere near that team.

It's like cheating  .... Ourselves

Shut your mouth!....Ashley Young has closed the gap between us and Barcelona!....It's in Fergie's book so it must be true!

Excuse me...Barcelona are the Michael Owen of football to me...Boring, predictable and a turn off

I am actually a bit surprised at the atmosphere. Crowd seems nervous.

They seem like they are shitting their pants. You can tell there is tension in the air there.

Hasn't been that bad at all.
