Is that based on United or all transfer stories?

Daily Mail are pretty shit on the whole, as those statistics show, but Ian Ladyman has been pretty good with United stories so far.

All transfers.

Now that we have a big name manager, I hope we do not have to overpay clubs/players to convince them to join us. Also LVG and his dutch/german links always helps!

Absolutely. Him ''attacking'' the German market is brilliant news as there is so much quality there - relatively cheap and extremely talented young players along with established world-class ones that might be available this summer. We ignored the German market for far too long (can't remember the last time we signed a player from the German league before Kagawa) and missed out on so many gems, like Vidal for example. Good to see that's coming to an end.

Hargreaves :nervous:.

Supposedly we're planning to hijack Liverpool's move for Konoplyanka according to the Mirror. Most likely BS but I'd love for us to sign him from right under their noses, especially as they've just gotten CL football for the first time in years.

If all these names are true I can't wait for next season. My appetite is already whetted with van Gaal. Thank feck we've the world cup and not got 3 months of nothingness to get through

So much agreed with this.

Netherlands will play against some quality teams. It'll be also excellent time for Louie to scout on further potential targets and choose best from the pool.

I love this guys shitty attitude. If we're gonna be the most hated club in the league then we might as well be most hated in style.

I actually love that. Radio silence until we announce. Like how it should be done. Not the whole : "We've bid for Fabregas... Ed's working on it." Nonsense.

Did I imagine it or were certain twitter accounts banned from being posted in this thread due to their high BS level?

I'm loving the direct nature of van Gaal's answers, no umming and ahhing, very precise in his responses.

I'd be delighted if Evra stayed with us and was content with being a backup/mentor to Shaw. Not just because he'd be a good backup as when he is fresh he's a good player but also as it would just prove how much the little fella loves this club.

Evra for me is still first choice if he stays regardless if Shaw comes or not. The club captain for me
Agreed!!! Anyone who wants Evra to leave has not got a clue he's an asset.

I know betting odds should be taken lightly, especially as bookies make nicely when the player stays at a club, but Shaw & Kroos are both 1/8 on Skybet. Cesc is Evens. I start buying into this crap when it gets to this time of night and no new sources are available.

Wow, them Kroos odds have changed significantly from this morning...

I remember last year when Thiago was 1/16 to join us...If not 1/32 in fact, but anyway, I was so excited.
If only I knew now what I knew then, I'd be a lot richer anyway

We heard weeks before he arrived that he had targets and wants to turn this ship around. He's a man who wants players to fit into his formula, so its makes sense he wants players and plenty of them. I'm 50 times more confident that he can deliver the good than I was last year. I have yet to hear the dreaded "we are working on things" like last year. Christ, last summer was horrible.

He's exactly the type of player I'd love to see at OT.
