Five home-grown players? That's pathetic.
hell of a claim
What's the CL quota?
- From 2008/09, clubs in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League required a minimum of eight homegrown players in a squad limited to 25. These rules are also in force in several national leagues across Europe.
- Clubs have no obligation to put a certain number of homegrown players on the field of play, or on the matchsheet. They are entirely free in their team and matchday squad selection.
- UEFA defines locally-trained or 'homegrown' players as those who, regardless of their nationality, have been trained by their club or by another club in the same national association for at least three years between the age of 15 and 21. Up to half of the locally-trained players must be from the club itself, with the others being either from the club itself or from other clubs in the same association.

Depends what they mean... If LVG has a budget of £100m say, then ye, I'm sure they'd sell any player for 100m if he blew the entire budget on one player
Bild has taken it's 'source' from Daily Mail and claim that we're on 245 mil Euro to spend.
So yea, Jan is just being retarded again.
Which is odd because he seemingly hates united. No German player would ever move to us if it was down to himBild has taken it's 'source' from Daily Mail and claim that we're on 245 mil Euro to spend. They're as well claiming that VG's 'wishlist' consists of Badstuber, Mandzukic, Robben and Kroos.

Does that mean that club must personally have produced at least half of its quota of homegrown players?
I find the wording a bit weird.
I know what homegrown players are. "Up to half" just baffled me a bit. 'Up to' or 'at least'?Locally = Associate nation, half of them must have been trained by the club during their developmental years (15-18).

I would be thrilled should we sign any Bayern first team player. Although it's not in the areas we really need, both Robben and Muller would greatly improve us.Please not Robben or Muller. Please not Robben or Muller. Please not Robben or Muller.

Muller is class, and he has the most German face I've ever seen.
Muller looks more Bavarian. Kroos looks the most German, in my opinion.Considered him but I think Muller beats it.
Badstuber is an interesting one, he's only just returning from a long injury spell but he's still relatively young. I don't know much about him, he's obviously good enough if he was a first choice CB for Bayern but isn't he rather slow?? Could any Bundesliga experts shed some more light on him as a player.... How good is he?? how likely are Bayern to sell him??
