I think Rooney is 240k. I always assumed Rooney made more due to endorsements and such but on a flat salary Yaya earned more.

No idea to be honest.

Reading a few random links from a quick google search, Aguero is the highest paid MCFC player on 220k Yaya is on 200k. Rooney is the highest paid in the league, and only earns less than Ronaldo and Messi.

Not sure if that's accurate or not, but sounds about right to me.

Jardim's no longer Sporting manager apparently and will be confirmed as the new Monaco manager later on. I know there was a tweet before about Carvalho saying he's going back to Sporting but as their president said if someone pays his release clause there's no stopping him leaving & with Monaco having rumoured interest already, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him follow Jardim there. I think if he does move this summer it'll only be there.

3x times the same story, from 3x different tweeters. It's not even June and the muppetry is already on deadline day form.

All from the MEN to be fair and in terms of credibility they don't seem to be as good as they used to be, that said, I do still think it's a matter of time before we sign him. Hope we get it announced before the World Cup.

Wow :lol::lol:

Luke Shaw's move to Manchester United is 95 per cent done and set to be announced soon, via @stumathiesonmen http://bit.ly/1lZrL6s #mufc

This is how we flex muscle. I'm sure that around £30m has been spent on him and that is a LOT of money for an 18 year old. Granted he's a top talent but we've dished out the cash big time this time.

This ought to send a clear message to the United fans that this window, we mean business.

On the Shaw front, great but not surprising news. On the Yaya front, I'm guessing Bluemoon is in complete meltdown mode right now.

The pathetic cnut Toure is just looking for an excuse to leave City IMO. This whole birthday thing is beyond embarrassing. If it turns out that he's genuinely upset about it, then he'd be the biggest cry baby in football.

He's a big mofo so he should start acting like one.

I don't think it's purely an excuse. He's probably bored of City, I'd agree. but I don't think he's after a new deal.
And I genuinely think he's sensitive to this sort of thing, as some are. You can just tell he's a big softie from his interviews, and his comments about being recognised by the media. People will see it as him trying to engineer a move, but I think he's probably upset about this.

Not a good idea to let it out this way though, and his tweets are just odd, to to say the least.

With LVG announced now I expect the transfers to be finalised soon, so the Luke Shaw story makes sense.

Well Milner and Toure have already started making noises.

Hopefully Silva and Aguero too.

We're just going be media nonsense. Its likely none of us know what's happening behind the scenes.

Buttner must have thought he'd get a decent chance to establish himself as a wing back under his compatriot Van Gaal. Not looking likely at the moment.

Good, Evra and Shaw would be excellent as our LB choices next season. We need some leadership in the squad.

Definitely, don't think we should let Evra go with Rio and Vidic already gone. Plus I think the competition will be good, as much potential as Shaw has he's gonna have some rough patches over the next few seasons.

Well considering van Gaal didn't select him for his thirty man preliminary Dutch squad... It was touched on in his interview on Dutch television yesterday.
