Why? News that Hernandez could be off isn't anything new or exactly major.
Could be worse, we've got a soft start so should give him experience without throwing him into the fire

Judging from what we have seen on tour. I wouldn't be averse to Young playing LWB for the next few games. Valencia on the right.
Well we have Young and I think we will sign Blind anyway.

Why are people so convinced that we will sign Blind when the player, his agent, and Ajax have all said there's been absolutely no contact from us? Just curious why it's assumed we will sign him.
Nothing came off for James yesterday apart from the simple pass. I have a feeling that you are right though and James will be on the left because both Valencia and Rafael won't make it in time.
Going forward it didn't come off for him, however he was pretty good defensively. He wasn't a disaster going forward either, just didn't really get the better of the RB.

It does seem like we are sniffing around. They'll let him go and he would be open to the move. It would also make sense seeing as he can play on the left and at CM. Obviously that quote doesn't mean he's coming, it just seems like the 'big club' he is mentioning, is us.
We're going to need him to be better going forward though. In a 4 back where he has a winger to help it's a bit different. He has to do a lot more on his own and it didn't seem like he could get past a player or swing in something dangerous (like Young).
I'd play Ashley Young there over James.

Yeah, odd one that. Johnstone might not have the experience to be backup and Amos is possibly a little bit short on quality to even be a regular no. 2 at United.
LVG seemed very angry about his stupid mistake against Roma, i think that Johnstone will be ahead of Amos.
