James isn't ready for the prem. We need a defender ASAP.
If he really said that then it would be on every site, surely?
Could be worse, we've got a soft start so should give him experience without throwing him into the fireJames doesn't look ready tbh.
This is from the season we lost the title to City on goal difference...Do we get more injuries than everyone else or does it just seem that way?
Can't believe the image of Woodward smiling and wanking is making me excited.

Well we have Young and I think we will sign Blind anyway.

Not in time for swansea. I think James did ok yesterday, and isn't Valencia injured anyway. James to play against Swansea, Young on the right.
Nothing came off for James yesterday apart from the simple pass. I have a feeling that you are right though and James will be on the left because both Valencia and Rafael won't make it in time.
Lingard is a good option at RWB with Young shifted to the other side
Why are people so convinced that we will sign Blind when the player, his agent, and Ajax have all said there's been absolutely no contact from us? Just curious why it's assumed we will sign him.
Going forward it didn't come off for him, however he was pretty good defensively. He wasn't a disaster going forward either, just didn't really get the better of the RB.
I'd play Ashley Young there over James.James doesn't look ready tbh.

Amos?feck me. If Big Dave gets a knock, is that Johnstone in nets? Do any other top teams have as inexperienced a number 2?

Amos?
Amos was sub keeper last night, not Johnstone, so I'm not quite sure I agree.LVG seemed very angry about his stupid mistake against Roma, i think that Johnstone will be ahead of Amos.
De Boer said this
"If he goes to a big club, he deserves it, but still I think maybe he should stay one year".
"It's difficult to say no when they come with a big bag of money because then it's almost impossible.... and sometimes it gifts the player an opportunity to go because sometimes the train only passes one time".
It does seem like we are sniffing around. They'll let him go and he would be open to the move. It would also make sense seeing as he can play on the left and at CM. Obviously that quote doesn't mean he's coming, it just seems like the 'big club' he is mentioning, is us.
I know what de Boer said. But makes you think 'we are sniffing around'. Based on the fact that he's Dutch and will a gap in our squad that we need? Because there's been nothing of note that's linked us with Blind. His agent came out and said all the stories linking us with Blind is just gossip and not true. He said we've had no contact.
