I think Ander Herrera is a good signing but I was still hopeful of signing someone of Vidals level however optimistic it sounds. Hopefully Herrera develops into a top player and helps us get into the Champions League next season.
No reason for us not to buy another CM to go with him, we need an overhaul in midfield not a bandage.

The opposite. If he thought the English press were on his case before, he ain't seen nothing yet. He'll use that even more to try and get a move abroad. If he's not banned.
As long as he's massaging their prostates at night while they sleep while whispering "The theatre of dreamsh ish what you should go", I'm happy
Strootman seems like a very likely January addition though, which doesn't leave me with a lot of optimism. As much as I'd love Vidal or a player of similar quality, I'm even less optimistic now.
