The Guardian.

It’s not easy being Ed Woodward. Armed with the money of Manchester United, the name of Manchester United, and the reputation of the manager of Manchester United, the pressure to actually sign people for Manchester United is more than your average human could bear. But Woodward is no average human, what with his designer beard, prominent cheeks and smouldering stare, and as such, his ability to link United with all manner of players for whom he is unable to complete deals is without compare.

When it comes to “weighing up bids”, “preparing bids” and “agreeing terms with the player”, United cannot be matched. Currently, they are thinking about considering whether to contemplate perhaps pondering a potential postulation as regards actually offering a suitable sum of money for Ángel di María. This is because Real Madrid are keen to sell and, given financial fair play restrictions, Paris Saint-Germain can’t afford to buy – clearly, what they need to do is get themselves banned from all transfer activity, like Barcelona. Anyway, Louis van Gaal has specifically referenced Di María as the kind of player United lack, so expect them to be priced out of a one-horse race in the next week or so.

And that is not all – United are also looking at Daley Blind, the world’s first footballer-newspaper. Van Gaal has noted publicly that Dutch players are cheap and good, so, most likely, Blind will join from Spurs for £174m, in two years’ time. In the meantime, a variety of types have been informed that they’ll be leaving Old Trafford – Marouane Fellaini, Nani, Javier Hernández, Rafael, Will Keane and Wilfried Zaha. The same was expected to be so of Antonio Valencia, a target for Wigan Warriors, but no one’s been able to find him since 2012.

It's just like one of us Cafites wrote it! Which one of you works for the Guardian then?

How are your F5 buttons holding up?

Christ, that state of him.

This comes from Kritstine Blond:

Hey hey hey hey hey

We're thinkin' about you

We're just a little bid shy baby

Got to got to gotta gotta be sure

'Cause one day a player will be comin'

And we won't be bid shy anymore.

Haven't seen the latest one (yet).

But that Nicolo Schira guy was the one who was tweeting about the first name.

This is a bit of a cock as I've literally just bought one

It can't actually record or take pics though, but imagine arguing with them! Presumably they wouldn't be searching every fan, so keeping it in your pocket, rather than leaving on the supporters coach is safe?

No one should be lofting up sodding ipads, the view is bad enough if your far up. Great stance.

So get security to deal with the ones who do that?

Not quite sure why you need a complete ban on the device itself. Bit overboard.

completely overboard. you might just want to keep it on you rather than leave it in the coach/car etc.

Let's face it. The people who use iPads to take photos are usually folk who think that the camera is better than the identical one that's in their phone. You and I have to make do with a blocked view because some stupid twat thinks he's being über techy.

Spot on!

Appearing in The Guardian, it will prove embarrassing for both Woodward and United.

Why the feck would some idiot want to take an iPad to a football match?

I would agree in general but remember there's bound to be some people who just like to keep it on them. No different than a phone or any other device.

Never realised Moyes' association with Apple products had literally driven the Caf' contingent to dispise the iPad itself.

"RAWR! Dicks taking photos with it! Savages!"

completely this. I've just got one (well, a Kindle), and the choice will be leave it on the supporters coach, or take it in...so I'd probably have decided to take it in to be safe!

If that is the reason they've banned them, then I'm surprised they haven't done it before to be quite honest. For quite a few reasons.

 It would be a live stream mate, just probably a couple clips like you would do with your phone. Basically they are just using it as a phone.

Just the small matter of it being about 5 times the size.

Man we should really have a thread about ipad's.. I don't realise so much people on the CAF were over 50.

It's funny because I've noticed that most the people who record video or take photos with iPads are over 50...

Anyway, this Vidal chap...
