as if the Mail would have the insider info on who is getting axed!

And as if we're going to sell off 5/6 in the next 3 weeks when it doesn't look too certain we're bringing anyone in

Makes no sense to sell our only natural RB who would actually thrive in wingback role! Even if we are signing Cuadrado, I find it hard to believe we'll let Rafa go.

Yet the majority of people criticise RM's tactics in the transfer market.
Real Madrid has absurd transfer tactics. There's no real real room for growth for many players. They Keep buying the best in the world every two transfer windows. The last 5 or 6 world record fees were broken by them. Where's the room for developing young players? We're buying in bulk this summer because we've been mismanaged in certain areas of the pitch and last year the team as q whole. There's just no sense in alienating the likes of Di Maria when he's prolly one of the best performers in that team. It's a joke to compare our tactics with theirs.

Doesn't say who, someone we could be in for? I have no idea who he is.....

"You talking to me?"

If we sign Cuadrado we've him, Rafael, Young and Valencia to play the wing-back role.

We would do better to still keep him, how much money will he fetch anyway? And the other options barring CUadrado who we haven't yet signed can all go tits up and not reliable at all.

I think we need some movement when it comes to departures. Need to freshen up the squad. If the mentioned players do leave then we will surely see a few additions along with younger players promoted.

Jesus, Blind is coming in because we aren't getting Vidal. It's just obvious.

it would make no sense to sell him and then for 10m or what? crazy, especially if we turn to 433 again in the future.

Needless to say, if we really are letting Rafael go, I expect at least £20-25million.
Fecking hell! Be lucky to get 10 million for someone with his injury record.

Although for the same reason it would seem doubtful we would sell him. Not going to get much for him, and we are short defenders.
Although Van Gaal might want a tight squad...

I agree with this. He isn't that good. Wouldn't like him sold though. I like him.

The year before Moyes reign he was perhaps the most improved player in the squad.....and then went right back to the player he was before the year before Moyes reign. He isnt getting any younger and is talented but he does still seem naive based on last year. Saying that his attributes seem ideal as a wing back, I definately wouldnt like to see him sold.

Agree, though bar the season before MOyes he hasnt realyl improved a great deal and still seems naive at times, his skills set is certainyl more suited to beign a wing back than a right back, Id prefer him to Valencia for sure who we already know is staying, so if he is going SURELY it means somebody like Cuardrado is pretty much lined up?

Why is it always City fans who are victims of these travel and weather disruptions?

I wouldn't consider Sami Mokbel to be reliable anyway, Ian Ladyman and Adam Crafton are the ones to watch out for in DM.

And if we want to go 4 at the back then ?

Even if we sign Cuadrado surely Valencia going out makes more sense.

Not that we are getting Cuadrado anyway with Barca involved.
