Don't think Rafael will be sold. We won't further weaken areas that we don't have players for.
If we sign Cuadrado we've him, Rafael, Young and Valencia to play the wing-back role.Don't think Rafael will be sold. We won't further weaken areas that we don't have players for.
Real Madrid has absurd transfer tactics. There's no real real room for growth for many players. They Keep buying the best in the world every two transfer windows. The last 5 or 6 world record fees were broken by them. Where's the room for developing young players? We're buying in bulk this summer because we've been mismanaged in certain areas of the pitch and last year the team as q whole. There's just no sense in alienating the likes of Di Maria when he's prolly one of the best performers in that team. It's a joke to compare our tactics with theirs.Yet the majority of people criticise RM's tactics in the transfer market.
Doesn't say who, someone we could be in for? I have no idea who he is.....

Needless to say, if we really are letting Rafael go, I expect at least £20-25million.
You're going to be disappointed then
We'd be doing well to well to get half that.Needless to say, if we really are letting Rafael go, I expect at least £20-25million.

I agree with this. He isn't that good. Wouldn't like him sold though. I like him.
Like feck would we sell Rafa.

If it's true then we must have defenders lined up.
Fecking hell! Be lucky to get 10 million for someone with his injury record.Needless to say, if we really are letting Rafael go, I expect at least £20-25million.

Why would we get rid of Rafael? Our only actual rightback for when we switch to a 4-3-3. Doubt it.[/QUOTE
Because he loves an injury and a booking. Wouldn't say he's progressed as much as he should given he's had 4/5 years in first team.
Sami Mokbel who wrote the Mail article is a United fan?
Makes no sense to sell our only natural RB who would actually thrive in wingback role! Even if we are signing Cuadrado, I find it hard to believe we'll let Rafa go.
