Selling Evra and Nani to Juve for around £8m is poor business. That said, both have had major declines in form in recent years. Still, I'm sure we could get at least £10m for Nani alone.

At the end of the day I think Nani and evra were used to get Vidal all along.

It remains to be seen if we even sign Vidal. And also if that were the case, why wouldn't they just do a player/s + cash swap rather than do it separately?

So we've cooled our interest in a player we were never realistically getting anyway? Cool beans.

So apparently it took us this long to figure out what foot he was.

Ok then..

Yep.

So who is there? Daley Blind is the only one I see available.

Off the top of my head, realistically, that would leave Ogbonna, Inigo Martinez, Vertonghen and Laporte. Can't think of much other CBs who are left footed. Chiellini is unrealistic and I don't think Nastasic would be allowed to come here. I know Balanta is left footed but that's based on FM .

I find these reports that we've cooled down interest in Kroos or Hummel's extremy funny. Smacks of saving face.

Does being left footed really matter all that much? Provided they're comfortable with both feet I don't see why you'd go for an inferior defender just because they are left footer.

That guy's knee is ugly, that one's not left footed and that one have herpes and that one's didn't had shit for weeks...

Seriously, sometimes United are indeed different than other clubs in every way possible.

Ogbonna isn't very good, I've seen many Italian forumers on various boards slam him, Vertonghen and Laporte's clubs will be an absolute pain to deal with and will draw the saga out as long as they physically can, and I think Inigo was somewhat off the boil this year. Looked a lot weaker than what he did the season before.

Who are we signing? I am starting to become desperate for new signings.

Please don't tell me we are going to go for Daley Blind as a CB. He is a good LB and CDM but I would rather see someone else at CB.

Haven't seen much of Ogbonna but I'd agree with what you say on Inigo. I'm not a fan of Vertonghen so I'd like Laporte but I don't think Bilbao would be particularly keen to deal with us again after Herrera.

Marcos Rojo? He can play LB too but am not sure if he's good enough

If Moyes were still manager we'd have signed Herrera, Shaw, Carvalho and Kroos by now.

We wouldn't have got Kroos, and Moyes would have probably been talking about him in the press, and we'd look like a bunch of idiots for him going to Madrid instead.

Yes but they would still be great players who are managed by Moyes... a ferrari is useless if driven by one who is incompetent.

LvG needs to get his priorities right - we're going to be so shit on Fifa next year without any signings.

Benatia is a gold star defender on FIFA and Cuadrado is a 5 star skiller... FIFA 15 will be a blast to play if you are a MUFC fan :)
