So after reading the past 3 pages, our starting lineup next season will be this:

---------De Gae-----------

--Evans Vermaalen Benatia--

Cuadrado----------------Shaw

--------Vidal-----Herrera------

----------Mata--------------

------RVP----Rooney-------

My god that is good.
That is fecking ace

Pretty sure neither Jan, nor anyone from Sporting claimed we'd matched his release clause, it was a story posted by Zero Zero (who're usually rather reliable, since they rarely run made up rumours), later to be shot down by Sporting during a press conference.

That's not what I meant. They were saying that if William was to be sold, they were claiming that they would reject any bids below his release clause.

He is amazing and my 2nd choice after Hummels for a Vidic replacement.
35M should do it, I hope LVG wants him.

These stories about us wanting him are sthing new. I thought he comited himself to Roma but given the fact he's been speculating and flirting with few clubs since the WC it isnt impossible he will be on the move.

Something's funny with this di Maria stuff . Usually psg just sign players and not pussy about like this . Maybe we are in but cant see us spunkin 50 mill plus on him to be honest .
They can't afford him because of FFP.

I expect the transfer boat to set sail at the week end . Must be judges houses tomorrow when LVG tells the squad whos not made it then its full steam ahead for the new additions .

Ancelotti wants Di Maria to stay but he seems to be set on leaving but who else would be able to offer the fee / terms suggested? PSG out, Monaco is such a step down from RM and then us without CL. Bayern don't need him, neither do Arsenal, City or Chelsea and then Liverpool... erm, well.

If he wants to go, then to who?

Benatia, Vidal and Di Maria. That's the muppet dream.
Can you imagine if we managed to pull those 3 off, it would improve our team so much.
Its beyond muppetry though as its not going to happen.

No chance we're in for Di Maria. Would completely go against everything that's been said about the squad and formation plans.

Benatia on the other hand would be absolutely perfect to sort things out at the back. Benatia, Vidal and Cuadrado would be immense. In their prime but still potentially a few years at the top level, and big improvements on what we have. Big ask though.

is that a x factor reference?

I think we will get 2 out of those 3.
Woodie ain't fecking about this summer.

If we miss out on Vermaelen we have to go for Benatia ! With Mangala most likely going to City.

Zhaggy's canine sidekick.

I don't even know what or who that is and yet I can imagine with you.

Xavi Campos who is very reliable on Barca news is reporting that we've pulled out of the deal and Barca we'll wrap up the signing in due course.

Good. Hummels, Benatia, Schär, Manolas, etc. I'd all prefer.

TXIKIFORERO:ManUtd Tried until the last minute signing @ T_Vermaelen05 but Arsenal did not agree to let him stay in Premier League.

Interesting that we're going for Benatia now, don't mind him though.. Has a bit of an injury ridden past though while at Udinese but was a revelation last season at Roma and managed to stay relatively injury free too.

It started from the Express, there'll be nothing in it.
