You do a disservice to Fellaini's ability to control a ball on his chest! He's very good at it, up there with the very best!

Just watched LvG's press conference.. Looks like transfers might start picking up once we're back from the US and that he'd let the players know whether they are in plans once he's back. He also said he intends to "make adjustments" to the squad once we're back and that "Aug 31st is too late to make judgements on players".
So looks like some of the players will be on their way out soon, and I guess we'll start working on signing replacements soon too.

Could you imagine a muppets week or two where we mop up across the board.
CB followed by a CM then a winger then deadline day we add another CM just to make sure.
Or maybe 'happy with the squad' and promote few young players
All of that + offloading the likes of Fellaini, Anderson, Nani, etc. would make for a perfect summer window. Just a CM and a CB and I would be happy.
Would love to see that. Blackett has been great all preseason for instance, in my opinion he should be promoted to the first team. Looks really solid, especially for a young age.Or maybe 'happy with the squad' and promote few young players

Just caught the tail-end of it & that presenter lad referred to LvG as "Van Haal". The press officer introduced Louie as "Van Gaal" at the 1st presser ffs - the G isnt silent. Thats how he friggin pronounces his name for Christ sake..

Nope. On SSN they asked Van Gaal himself how he preferred it to be pronounced and he said Haal.
He'd be an absolutely wicked signing & exactly the right player to play in Van Gaal's system. Top class player is that lad..
