Agree and would make LVG lack credibility if we did any business before then as well. Not the best for the fans who want to wrap up business as quick as possible.

Because LvG said he was assessing the squad for 3 weeks, it doesn't mean work isn't going on behind the scenes. Thankfully we aren't leaking bollocks to the press this year, so we are left with twatter bollocks only.
If something is going to happen, it will be once the squad gets back. I doubt LvG has even laid his pens out on his desk yet.

Im not sure anyone is buying the "wants to assess squad" line. I dont believe it at all.
So if LvG and Woody are in the office by Wednesday, then it's probably Thursday at the earliest before we hear of any official bids.

Why do you think we can't move on transfers until after the tour? Other than LVG wanting to assess the squad I can't think of a reason, and he must have a very strong idea of who he wants to bring in by now.
I'm pretty sure he knows what he wants but seems to me that he is a man of his word and if he's said he wants to assess the squad then he's got to be seen to do it. That's why we haven't put any official bids in for players. That doesn't mean that it's not happening behind the scenes, it just means that as soon as we are back from tour things will step up. Again that's just what I think may not be the case but it's my opinion.
He played as one of the 3 CBs for Chile at the WC I think. Don't think he's good enough to play for us in any of those positions anyway.

Because we've been on tour now for two weeks and we've heard nothing concrete about transfers.. we have one, possibly 2 games left, I am in the belief that LVG will wait until he himself is back at Carrington before making any moves. Obviously I don't know this for sure, nobody does but considering we've been in the States couple of weeks now with no movement I find it hard to believe anything will happen now with only 3/4 days to go.

Deals are not done that quickly - negotiations will be happening already. Idea that he would assess squad then start looking is nonsense. He would have known what he wanted immediately.
