So, reading between the lines...

- he maybe quite rates Fellaini
- RVP likely to be captain
- he's likely to be looking for a couple of specialist wing backs
How have you made the first two assumptions? He simply stated Fellaini can play the same role as the other players he mentioned, and RvP is a player who shares his philosophy sure, but there may be other candidates who in the next few weeks (as he has stated previously) may be a better fit.

How has he made those assumptions? He's obviously a budding journo

I don't think anything Van Gaal has said thus far would indicate he wouldn't be interested in signing someone of Vidal's stature. Or any player who would improve the quality of selection immensely in any position.

Obviously the key players in a 5-3-2 are the wing backs, and the centrebacks bearing in mind how much we're lacking in quality and numbers there. So that would definitely indicate that the likes of Hummels and Cuadrado would be the priorities.

The key players in a 4-3-3 are the wingers and the holding midfielder. So again Cuadrado/Di Maria and someone like De Jong.

Says it in here at 1.50

I love the way he sarcastly talks to the interviewer when they ask a stupid quaestion lol.
Also his English is ok but i would of thought it might of been a bit more fluent, Holland is pretty much an English speaking country these days. Well i have been a few times and all the local people spoke English, even when talking to each other.

Chilean, Mexican, Brazilian... The more the merrier.

@Anduin - yep, those are the Tweets. In fairness, he's just relaying what he's reading, though it's interesting that Brazilian media are reporting on this story. How would they know?

Have we established how reliable the Chilean publications in question are?
