He certainly did about 2 weeks ago, but thats probably not Adnan's account though. Some bullshitter pretending to be him is my guess.

Funny comment:

"But why is the next man back though.."

He never cut it, he had cornrows, and it definitely is Adnan's account.

How much do you think Cavani is actually worth man - £25m.. less?

Its braindead for PSG to think, that because they overpaid on Cavani (with blood money) thats its his true valuation now..

I'd say he is worth 30 - 35m in today's market for a 27 year old. No more.

His last 4 seasons he has 161 starts/127 goals/19 assist. For Uruguay 39 starts/14 goals/6 assists.

He is not too shabby at all but where would he fit is the question if the rumour was probably not bullshit.
I for one would play him ahead of Welbeck and Hernandez for sure. Whether he would be willing to compete with RvP is another story.

If they want ridiculous transfer fee sell him to Monaco considering Falcao looks like he'll be off.

Why would Vidals agent be submitting our bid?

Sack Woodward. Sign Felicevic?
I think I read somewhere that they'll only let him go if he wants to leave and what better way to show that you want to leave than by submitting the bid yourself to ... effectively, sell yourself?

Even Benitez isn't that stupid?

They have Inler and Behrami who are better than him. And he is not going to displace Hamsik.

If we going to loan him then loan to a team he'd start for.

We are talking about a man who tried selling Xabi Alonso to fund a move for Gareth Barry.

Thats some league stats alright. How good is the Italian & French league compared to the Prem though?! Both are way behind in quality as a complete package, so i'd doubt he'd have scored that amount of goals in the Prem.

Cant see PSG sellin any player to Monaco & vice versa. They're too competitive now.

I'd love Falcao at United though - best Striker (of his type) in the world before he joined Monaco. Superbly both-footed & great in the air. Brilliant all-round footballer.

If that lad's on the market - we should be interested, because RvP could have another period of injuries again this season & Hernandez isnt the fox in the box he once was & was never a well-rounded footballer anyway. Falcao would flourish at United.

"Wont happen though.." - the most commonly used phrase by United fans when it comes to world-class players coming to United..

From what I remember of a Guardian piece on the Mata bid we used mostly middle men and agents as go betweens, his father being one of them.

I think this was mostly down to our reluctance to talk shop over the sale of Rooney, although considering how the Mata deal was done relatively smoothly the club might think this can be one way to get business done again?

So annoying!!
Its one of those that I wish someone at the club can get asked about and just clear the air. It feels like English journalists love getting briefed so much that they never really ask transfer questions in conferencesz

TBH, Cavani's record in the Serie A is very impressive, from 2010-2013 he had 33, 34 & 38 goals per season plus he scored 25 goals last year from the LW position for PSG.

Because he seems like one of those goalscorers that can bag you 20+ goals per season regardless of where he is playing on the front line, I think his value is about 40-45M, but clubs like PSG have inflated the market greatly by paying release clause figures for Cavani and Lucas...if PSG wasn't on the scene there is no way Cavani would have went for €64.5 million or Lucas for €45m .
Those are ridiculous figures.

We have RVP (who is one of the best strikers in the world and better than Cavani IMO), Rooney, Chich and Welbeck so it really makes no sense.

If we continue with the 3-5-2 formation then I think Rafael might struggle to tie down the RWB slot. His injuries will really hamper his chances. Valencia is there at the moment and if we sign someone like Cuadrado it will mean Rafael's playing time may really suffer.

There is one thing worth noting from the Ferdinand transfer.....

How long it took for a free agent to join the club he was linked to weeks ago.

 Nice one Stob..

Alonso just so happened to be instrumental in Spain winning Euro 2008, the World Cup in 2010 & Euro 2012. Not to mention a La Liga title in 2011/12 & Champions League in 2013/14 with Real..

What planet was Rafa on for Christ sake.. friggin mental case.. :wenger:

He played on the right not left & he scored 8 goals there in 21 games, played up front too and scored 12 there in 19.

Either way, Cavani's massively underrated on here because of his games against Chelsea in the CL and him being average at the World Cup. He's one of the best strikers in the world on top form, just hasn't fit in at PSG because he's been second fiddle to Ibra.
