Mate have you actually checked the source that nobody is retweeting? It's just an Arsenal Supporter's Twitter - full of absolute nonsense.

I could make a United Supporter's Twitter Account and try to drum up followers. Christ, do people really have that much time on their hands these days? (Not you gulli G, the Twits)
Arsenal fans are generally the worst for that sort of stuff. Complete oddballs.

Where would you play him in the current 3-5-2?
In the midfield 2 as a partner to Herrera. They are both box 2 box's who are well rounded. They can both attack, both defend, both get up and down the pitch. Just because they are similar does not mean it will work!. 1 can sit while the other attacks etc, good players make it work.

I personally believe that the Champions League and European Cup should be distinguished as it is much harder to win now even as the best team. So many more hurdles to jump and more opportunities to slip up. But hey, that won't stop Sturridge raising 5 fingers in his first game for Liverpool against United despite only being alive for one of the wins.
I'm not sure back then it was just Champions in it. But if you look at Liverpool's route to the final back then sometimes it was laughable. I agree with some of what you say but don't agree they should be distinguished.

If you zoom into his eyes, you can see Woody and Moyes

A back 3 has a spare man who can play as the sweeper. I don't think Herrera + A.N. Other would need to worry too much about taking turns to sit.

That sounds great for FM2014. In reality, I reckon he would go walkabout too often. I like him as an attacking player and if we didn't have Mata then I would be all for it.

I would much rather see Vidal, or even Khedira ( a much underrated player in here).

Like I said, he isn't what we need. A midfield general and a quality CB would be just fine.

It's a lot harder to win now once you're in it. But it was a lot harder to actually get in back then. So it's 50-50.

But that year they played about 4 games to win it, with some Irish pony in the first round takes the mick.

Am forever gutted Milan got so complacent in 2005. 3-0 up for rucks sake, playing them off the park!

I don't know if you've seen Vidal play much apart from the world cup, but he is as much of a "midfield general" that you can get. He does just as much defensive work as he does attacking.

Erm, I am confused? Vidal is my idea of a midfield General, I am not sure why you needed to reiterate the same. Di Maria is not what we need.

He was on about Di Maria at first, not Vidal.

My bad yes I thought u were saying Vidal was not the man we need. I was confused sorry. Glad we both agree though :D

I cannot imagine anybody would think that Vidal is not the prefect player for us......except maybe LvG, Woody or old Beppe Marotta.
