Well well, he's clearly issued a "come get me" plea.

Ps. I can't see how they worked out it was Chelsea, maybe I need new glasses

I've never played FM, but I think because the match is Chelsea vs Arsenal, and the team he is controlling is in a blue kit - I guess that's how he got Chelsea :D

He's done well to sign himself. I tried signing Pogba on FM14 and Juve weren't having none of it. They demanded £200m

Alexander Büttner has signed a 3-year contract with Dynamo, as confirmed by club's vice-president Henadiy Solovyov.

That Valencia news is depressing, useless player these days and as one dimensional as it gets.
Wanna talk about it, you're amongst friends, let it all out.

I am happy enough with Valencia signing a new deal. I think we will play with two wide men and I hope they will be Adnan Januzaj and Alexis Sanchez with Antonio Valencia and Nani as back ups.

Nani will leave and Young will stay imo.

A lot of people are over reacting. Van Gaal has probably said he wants to keep him, so how about we see how he performs first before claiming to be 'depressed'.
We've witnessed his poor excuse of a performance the past two seasons. He was probably worst in SAF's final season then last so don't blame Moyes either.

Everyone talks about him giving his all but most of the time his our most negative minded player on the pitch and it's his job to create from wide positions.

Selling him for under £10 Million makes no sense if the manager thinks he will be useful.

Selling Buttner won't be a confirmation that we're signing Shaw but it will at least be one that we're signing a proper left back.

We need to sign another Dutch player to be van Persie's mate.

Exactly. It's hardly as if there is a clause in his contract that makes him first choice.

Hard to see why we're better off with Valencia instead of Zaha, Lingard or a signee there, though, based on Valencia's form and the track record of 29 year old wingers who are no longer as pacey as they once were.

Easier to sell a player on a longer contract, though. I reckon he'll either play a new position (CM or RB) under Van Gaal or he'll end up leaving next summer.

Why are people having trouble understanding that Valencia signing a new contract doesn't make him an automatic starter, it simply means that the club are in a better bargaining position when we finally do move him on. It doesn't mean he is spending the rest of his career here. And besides, he isn't completely useless as people make out. I'm glad he's staying. There is no way he should be a priority in terms of players we need to ship out this summer.

If he's still useful then we will keep him. If not, sell him. If he is useful to the manager then why would/should he be sold?
Because his proven to be unreliable. His a winger it's his job to score and create from wide areas his failed to deliver for two seasons.

I'm fine with him as a bit part player but the worries of him being first choice are always there.

When de he say that? I missed it maybe, great news if true.

He hasn't said it, I'm just assuming he has told the club to offer Valencia a new contract. What he has said though, is that he has already told the club he wants gone and who he wants in. So, I'm sure he wants to keep Valencia.
Ah, I thought we were discussing Nani there.

Aye, he has definitely asked the club to sign him to a new contract.

Starter under SAF, under Moyes. Now LvG comes in and the first player he's signed is Valencia. The managers surely see something that these fans don't.

We don't even need to give him a new contract. He won't push for a move and big clubs won't be after him. If plays like he has the past two seasons, this new contract will just make it a little more difficult to get rid. Maybe it's taking advantage of his loyalty but we should have just let his contract run down - if he's good enough, he'll earn a new one.

If Real Madrid sign Kroos, will they still go after Vidal if he is available? That would leave them with Vidal, Kroos, Modric, Alonso, Khedira, Illaramendi and Casemiero.
