I just want to guage the reaction here.

How would people feel if this happened?

IN
Vidal
Reus/Di Maria
Hummels
Vermearlan

OUT
Smalling
Nani
Kagawa
Fellaini
Hernandez
Fletcher
Young (no chance)

Then we added Cavani on deadline day as a little sprinkling on top. I dont know but to me I think id be pretty damn excited.

I'd be over the moon with the arrivals, not so much with the departures we don't need to lose all those players though at least 3/4 of them will be very important members of the team/squad.

I think anyone hoping LVG is going to toss out 8-10-12 players is going to be very disappointed.

P.S. except for the Cavani part way too much for a player of his ability & a back up striker, plus we already have better at the club.

I'd be over the moon if we signed Vidal, Hummels and say Blind and then got rid of all the others (except I'd swap Kagawa for Cleverley). As much as a stretch it will be to get Vidal or Hummels I see Reus and Di Maria as a no go.

Vidal, hummels,cuadrado and vermalin.
Sell young, bebe,anderson,nani,hernandez,fellaini,fletcher,cleverly.

Sounds like these new reports are on the back of Woodward's MUTV interview. Either that or he's briefing the media again.

"Apologies for the last year, the ginger bastard messed up. Fellaini wouldn't have made my reserves team so God knows how he ended up here. Speak to you soon, Fergie"

Mirror also going with the Hummels story, referencing the Spanish Sport article. No idea how they'd get the scoop on Hummels considering Hummels is neither Spanish nor does he play in La Liga.

Pretty big blow that for City. Back to Dzecko as their leading striker unless they bring in another player.
Not really, because Dzeko was their leading striker for the second half of last season anyway - Negredo was bang off form

"Barca have admitted defeat in their pursuit of Hummels to United" is their angle I believe.

Dont forget they also have Jovetic, who apparently still plays football. But they should start looking at strikera as Aguero looks half the player he once was. Negredo is out for a while and Dzeko is the only one left in form.

Its weird, weve been hearing Barca have pulled out for a while now but why? They can definitely match any bid by us especially in the 20-30m range and I wouldnt imagine they would be baulking at wage demands theyd probably match us all the way up to 200k a week. For me it seems like Hummels would prefer a move to us.

Or maybe he is not for sale

Or indeed that the report is utter horse manure?
