Well Woody can certainly talk the talk, but can he walk the walk.
Mata,Herrara and Shaw are a great start( we'll blame the mophead on Moyes).Vidal, Di Maria and Hummels would be lovely Woody.

Last Summer he didn't come out and give an interview. All we got last summer was Moyes dodging questions saying ''Manchester Utd will always be in for good players''

Yeah, fair enough, it was a sarcastic comment born out of being in a bad mood and last summers spectacular mess of hot air and Fellaini. He's certainly said a lot of encouraging things in that interview, hopefully our starting line-up against Swansea will show the fruits of that talk.

I'm not trying to say we won't bring more people in because i'm sure we will but the likes of Vidal, Hummels, Di Maria etc (players that people on here will name), i'm not so sure. I think it will more than likely be De Jong and players of that level.

I'm normally not a transfer muppet, or even one to call for ridiculous spending, but, if we don't go out and spend Citeh type money to lure a world class defender and another proper midfielder after those quotes from Edward, I'm going to be well and truly angry. Not to mention the fact that he'll look like an absolute git if we decide to not sign anyone else of note.
I guess he just said that rather than going down the Moyes route of destroying his players confidence by saying the squad needs a rebuild.
I'd started to become used to the idea that we'd sign a couple of cheap squad fillers. I was relatively happy with that.

We have only 3 CB´s and 2 FB´s not much that needs to be assessed there, we need more defenders.

It was certainly an encouraging interview, he looked confident when he said he was us to sign the Worlds best, hopefully he's a man of his word.
He gave a press conference in Australia last summer i think, regarding Rooney being sold & that Moyes had no transfer budget - aka bottomless pit..

Maybe Moyes has done that to him so he is giving as good as he gets. He is coming across a lot better than I thought he would.

And we all know that Moyes had to scout a player for 4 or 5 seasons before he considers putting a tentative bid in.
