How many times do we have to have a top player flutter his eyelashes in our direction only to go elsewhere/sign a big deal?
I was swept up in this, 90% sure Vidal was coming. Now I believe it as likely as signing Kroos was.

About £25m including co-owned players they've bought 50% of. They've made £17m-ish on fees but including getting Quagliarella & Vucinic's wages off the bill they're probably breaking even as they'll have saved a few £m on them.

I honestly cannot see them wanting Vidal though Vidal-Modric-Kroos may just be one of the best midfields of all time on paper.
I think if Vidal does go (and all signs point towards that), he would come to us IMO.
LVG's statements about "wanting to assess the players for a month" before buying new players is concerning but maybe thats a smokescreen.
So in truth they don't really need to sell then.

This. The first interview was fair enough when he said he's just enjoying his holiday but since then he's come out twice (I think) saying he'll remain calm if a possible United deal falls through and that he's aware of United and Madrid interest. Pretty disrespectful to Juve. Not that it bothers me but surely the professional thing to do would just be tight lipped and tell the media he's happy at Juventus.

Vidal iz talking to the press way too much for a player who's intending to stay on at Juventus.. and it couldn't be for a new contract because he signed a new last October i think? Or was that only Pogba?

I wouldn't have thought that would be the case, he signed one recently enough.
He also said to the press, he preference was to stay at Juve in one of the interviews.

He has mentioned even more times that he's uncertain about the future and mentioned United more than once.. Not something a player intending to stay would do.
I agree there is something there, but if he was wanting to move, surely after he said it once or twice his agent would have told him to shut up. Especially if WE were actually in for him and were putting a deal in place. Its not really the way we operate, anyway maybe I am just hyper skeptical.
Before he signed his contact in October, he was flirting with the idea of playing for Real Madrid in a few interviews, he has form.
