Not gonna be difficult for him to pull the plug tho, fairly certain he's given himself opportunity to claim that we pulled out due to his knee surgery or Juventus demanding too much for him / raising the wanted fee in the last second.

Whether United sign Vidal or not, I'd say it's pretty much impossible that at this stage the deal is 'as good as done'. It's clear this is some bloke on the internet who has nothing to lose by sticking his neck out on the line regards a potential big transfer. You tend to find those people who are genuinely 'ITK' regards transfers are never particularly bullish in their statements.
