Bit of a risk this early isn't it?

I would of kept Rio to be honest. He still has a lot to give imo and he would of been a good back up while also being a big character in the squad.
SPAM
No longer at the club.If Vidal's a no-go, does that mean it's Drinkwater time?![]()
Having seen the interview, I also think this 3-4 week comment was to make sure the players on tour give it their all - not think well more players are on the way, why should we could be out etc.
Would have started the tour on a downer.
It doesn't matter what the likes of Indykalia say anyway. His kind are still going to make up shite regardless. He claimed today that he was at the press conference but wasn't allowed to ask any questions. I can't believe there are 164k people dumb enough to follow his bile.Good thing is that what LvG said today might kill the bollocks on twitter. People like IndyKaila might be less inclined to make up shit for a couple of weeks now it's been said publicly we won't be looking to do anything until the manager gets time to assess his players, even if it isn't true.
He's due back to be fit very late in the year (October/November time). I doubt he's in training right now.Is he back ok training?

January bid then? He's due back to be fit very late in the year (October/November time). I doubt he's in training right now.
Most likely, but we're in desperate need of a midfielder right now.January bid then?
Strootman had a very bad injury, the kind of injury that takes away things from your game. If we're interested in him, we will see how he does for the rest of the season. He will be back to training by September but will only reach full match fitness by December or early January. We need to see if Strootman is the same player he was before his injury.January bid then?
Yep, who it will be no one knows. Most likely, but we're in desperate need of a midfielder right now.
He signed a new contract recently i think.Coentrao is an option that hasn't been mentioned a lot this summer. He can operate as a midfielder and LW, and he would also give us cover on LB.

If we went down that jack of all trade hybrid route, it would surely be Blind. Either way, their main position isn't CM and I seriously doubt any player who isn't an out and out center mid will be good enough to solve any problems.Coentrao is an option that hasn't been mentioned a lot this summer. Plus Coentrao seemed to be emerging as first choice LB towards the end of last season IIRC, so he won't be leaving anymore.
I agree he is much better as a left back. I thought you were suggesting Coentrao should be bought as a step in CM, who is also a great LB. My point was that if you're buying a player who's great in both positions, I'd go with Blind who seems to be more talented at adapting to a variety of positions, and probably more importantly, is actually gettable.Coentrao is way better than Blind, though I agree he wouldn't solve the problem with CM. Still would've been a good signing I think, if he was available.
This. As I said earlier, until the club or LVG himself says we aren't in for Vidal then it's so ON.Until Vidal himself says he stays at Juventus I'm confident about this.
Small joke. Someone made a thread about him yesterday with a very impressive video in the OP, and considering I was always a fan I figured I reference him again. He's my Modric, we'll say.No longer at the club.
Joke?
