Even Ogden I wouldn't really trust this window really. Not saying he isn't reliable, I just think we're briefing the media false reports. Remember Herrera? When all the reports came out from Bilbao, he came out and said last he heard we weren't interested in him at all and it's probably not true, then the next day he finds out it's real. I'm almost positive we're just denying everything until things are actually official, from our side at least.

Have you noticed how one Journo will say something new then over the next 30mins or so, all the others will come out saying the same thing or changing the wording slightly. The report that we aren't interested that Mcdonnell did is clear evidence to that when Vidal himself said this week twice that we're an option and one of the biggest teams in the world and all that. So we clearly are interested, and LvG is known to be a huge fan of his.

I have a feeling all of these reporters are just guessing. van Gaal doesn't really strike me as one to have good relationships with reporters so why would he let Woodward brief them?
