They can keep the players that they have? Besides, Beppe Marotta is worse than Woodward; he could have had Cuadrado before the WC started but he chose to wait/stalled.

If the finances aren't great they maybe can't even keep the players they have, especially if they are pushing for a move to get higher wages, likely though that they have to sell before they buy which is never good, especially when your top target has already been sold to Arsenal.

They're generally the most reliable paper in Italy but for Juve Tuttosport has the inside track.

Doesn't say much tho, they're as hit or miss as any other paper who tends to post gossip to 'win' clicks.

Ah right. So it didn't work out, he acted like a child and now maybe we can bring him back and he'll be amazing, for an insane fee.

In the process making us look like absolute mugs.

Yeah. No thanks.
I think he'd love to rejoin United and prove he's good enough. I feel the situation was blown out of proportion.

Its like working your arse off for a marketing company and getting passed up for a promotion by the part time cleaner.

Twitter is a double edged sword. If any of this is remotely true, I'll be wanking myself to an early grave.

Of course they're hit and miss but doesn't change the fact that Gazetta is considered the most reliable in Italy, but Tuttosport is the paper that is close to Juve.

Surely there's the strong possibility that the likes of Vidal et al are now going to want to see who the new manager is, what their goals/objectives for them, the club etc are, before making any big career choices? I would have thought this was the worst thing that could happen (in terms of a swift resolution for United).

Jamie Jackson got a few calls right but before this summer I'd have placed him way down the line in terms of reliable journos, I've seen him post way too many bullshit transfer stories in the past. If it's a choice between him and Mitten I'd definitely go with Mitten.

Jackson clearly knows nothing this transfer window, he's got pretty much everything wrong so far. Anyways, it wouldn't surprise me if we were telling journalists like him false information on purpose. LvG never liked journo's, and I doubt Woodward does after they all ripped into him last season.

So we have Gazetta on side of the Spectrum and Jamie Jackson on the absolute other side.

Damnit. This Jamie Jackson has dampened my expectations a bit.

@barcastuff Valencia defender Mathieu didn't take part in a friendly today because Barcelona informed Valencia they're willing to pay 20M buyout. [cope]

I don't think anyone really knows anything concrete which is why we have had so many different rumors about Vidal, they are just covering all bases and someone will come out looking 'right' in the end. If we don't get Vidal then Jackson will say he was right etc.

Is Jamie Jackson not the journalist who's not even that highly regarded within his own newspaper? (Guardian isn't it?)

The likes of Ogden (who is far more reliable than Jackson) didn't know anything about Herrera so there's no reason to think we've started giving everyone proper info about Vidal either.

So according to Simon Jones we've made contact but won't pay the £34m where as according to Jamie Jackson we have made no contact.. god these reporters.

Retweeted by Jamie Jackson. So he's saying that is what he has been told.
