Mitten might have explained why we werent in for Sanchez. Van Gaal generally feels South Americans are motivated more by money than anything else (but doesn't feel this with Vidal).

If Juve want £50m and we are haggling £34m I reckon we will meet in between (£42.5m) minus Evra (£2.5m), Juve come down as we sold them Evra cheap. I reckon the main negotiation is done and all this is the drama playing out ala Herrera, Shaw etc. I'm pretty hopeful that this is a smokescreen to hide the incoming medical. I could be completely wrong but since Moyes departure the leaks are virtually gone. We do now know that Woodward is a wily negotiator, no way Gill could have pulled off the Adidas deal. I think if LVG really wants Vidal, he will get him, if not there's alway the backup Strootman deal in maybe January, won't matter if he is CL tied obviously.

Based on what

If he's motivated by money then he's doing it wrong.

Felipe is supposed to be a Ronaldo like winger and the other player is a Goalkeeper I think.

Richard Arnold heads the commercial operation and we have lots of executives.

Gill as per what has been reported had detached himself of the commercial side anyway, and handled football stuff. Woodward took his role and Arnold was promoted as well. Not sure how much he splits either way but pretty sure he won't be doing all this deals by himself.

It's interesting with So many Big clubs interested and having bid rejected Benfica have allowed us to take them on trial.

Quite possible part of the Bebe Deal in some way.

It'll be interested how Felipe does, he's supposed to be a big talent at 15

1 month ago contact betweet Juventus and Man Utd for Arturo Vidal. No official bid, no agreement. And from that moment, no more talks #MUFC

Christ, what a sweeping generalisation that is! It's like saying "All European women don't shave their bits!"

Good signings from them. Still think they need a decent forward though. Cisse has gone completely off the boil since his debut season.

They're signing Riviere from Monaco & are after another forward aswell as him apparently. Doing some good business to be fair to 'em, doubt they'll do much whilst stuck with Pardew though.

There's no way he will let Kagawa go. Cleverley and Young on the other hand should go IMO.
I rate Smalling, and selling Hernandez is the best solution for both parties.
Hernandez + 10 mil maybe? Good solution for us; we sell Chicha who isn't happy on the bench to an overseas club who we rarely face, and we get Vidal. Juve get a great striker who can play with Tevez while slowly replacing him as Carlos gets older.
