I suppose this isn't transfer related, but I figured Scolari was gone. Legacy altering result against Germany, an awful game for the 3rd place game against what seemed to be, in the pre-match build-up, a rather unmotivated Dutch team/manager, plus comments like those from Neymar's agent. Always wondered what the Neymar/Scolari relationship was like. Neymar doesn't necessarily share the viewpoints of his agent obviously, but I wonder if Neymar wants Scolari out and how much influence his word carries with the Brazilian FA

Scolari's position now seems untenable. Never seen a defense that lacked any semblance of an organized and detailed game plan as I saw from Brazil against Germany. It's a freak result, but it's still one of the biggest games in Scolari's career and his team was an absolute shambles

Today's #gds confirms #Juve won't sell Vidal & Pogba unless 'they ask to be sold' - Juve fans can rest assured, both Vidal & Pogba want Juve

People expected Juve to say something different on the matter?

Like I have said many times, don't let the muppetry get the best of you. It was too good to be true. I'll admit that La Tercera reports were beginning to turn me muppet.

Oh well.

Hopefully that is what it is, but I am not so sure.

Besides Chilean reports, has there been any major reports from Italy indicating he was coming to us?
It;s true we shouldn't get over excited that he's ours but from the interview that was posted yesterday it seems like we have tapped him up.

There is still hope, his interview in Chile suggests he could be tempted.

Wouldn't worry too much about that tweet. He is one of their most vital players and they want to get a good price for him. As long as Vidal himself is open for the move, it is still a possibility.

As long as that interview and the translation are legit, which looks the case, i'd take that over some guy on twitter.

We'll see what other reports come out. I am sure we will get a lengthy quote from Juventus soon.

It looks like Arturo Videl might have to use the "slave" line to force the move. LOL

It was interesting reading the keep/sell fan polls in the article, not much love for Young, Fellaini and Cleverely unsurprisingly, but I didn't expect Fletcher to have a 51/49 % split.

Wouldn't pay much attention to social media United fans. They probably only chose him since Heinze wasn't an option.

Wouldn't say it's all that surprising. Fletcher's performances last season, the few that he had, were probably the worst of the lot as far as our midfielders go.

Under Moyes the general consensus seemed to be that he was going to be sold.

Surprising more from the perspective of how sentimental fans often are about home grown players, especially after his battle with illness.
