If they go for Rodriguez and Lovren along with Lallana and Lambert, you have to laugh.

Yeah lose their best player and one of the best in the world, Gerrard a year older and probably a broken man, so lets sign 4 Southampton players that'll move us up a level to win the league. Rodgers like Benitez before him loves a mediocre singing.

With the demands of the CL and the loss of Suarez Liverpool are destined to slip back down the table out of the top 4, they played out of their skin last year i can't seem them repeating that without Suarez.

I find it silly how Rodgers is going about signung Southampton playerS.. He should be looking to add players with European experience to his squad rather than trying to buy up Southampton in the hope that all of those players play like they did last season!

Don't be hard on Brendan guys! He knows he got lucky with everything last season and realises where Southampton finished is more their level so is buying their players who will be able for the pressures of trying to finish 7th ;)

For them it's just a disaster of a transfer window so far the way Liverpool have been going about it.

Totally agree. Its like they're tryin to consolidate CL football & not actually tryin to win the title this season. The owners are minted, yet wont push on & try to win things. They obviously know last season was a fluke - havin 1 game a week all season pretty much..

Out - Suarez

In - Bony, Lallana and Lambert

There aren't enough lol's in the world

Would Liverpool even be able to afford to spunk £45m on Reus with Bony and Lovren still potentially signing? Add that to their other four signings.

Also, is it just me who doesn't fully buy into Marco Reus, he's a good player but never thought he was anything special and I'd much rather have had Sanchez.

Reus is absolutely class. You're entitled to your opinion but that's the first time I've ever heard of anyone not buying into the Reus hype. He's deadly! But in terms of joining Liverpool I couldn't see that.

If he was to move you'd naturally expect it to be Bayern, Barcelona or Real Madrid for him - a genuinely bigger platform. Liverpool is not a bigger platform than Dortmund, United is a risky move for big players right now, Chelsea don't really need him with Hazard there, he appears more ambitious than PSG, Monaco or City. In the grand scheme of things, knowing he probably won't ever come here, I hope he stays at Dortmund but whatever the situation is I don't see anything in the Liverpool rumour at all.

One of the best players in the world & probably the best winger / forward player of his age around. Germany would have coasted the WC with him, and its a shame that he wasnt part of it. He must be devastated to have missed out on a WC medal. Its like adding injury to injury type of thing.

Marco would steal the show at United - he's that good Alti. He scores a shitload of goals too. Still cant tell what foot he is, because he's excellent on both feet. Usually you can tell from the balance of a player when he passes the ball etc - not with Reus though!

Sublime footballer & would light up OT like nothing else. Its been a while since we had that kinda buzz here.. We're talkin Ronnie at United buzz with that fella man..

And the article does state he could be getting his badges at the same time and join the coaching staff in coming years. Would be a great figure for their club, much like we have done with Scholes and Giggs. I saw a tweet from Rio that he's also going for his coaching badges.

Reus is world class. Better than Bale and Neymar, for me.

Cheap option & squad depth. Maureen knows he can rely on him also. He has a passion for Chelsea & that adds a massive boost to performance levels & drive..

I don't doubt his passion for Chelsea or his devotion to Mourinho, but still seems odd Drogba is going on 37. It would be like us resigning Phil Neville who no doubt has a real passion for United but at that age is clearly past it.

Who knows could be a good signing for a year, but personally i think its a waste of time & resources.

That'll be a headache for defenders next year, even if you manage to see off the more than ample physical game of Costa, you'll have a fresh Drogba then coming off the bench to deal with.

Feckin Chelsea. Good business.

Past few weeks Evra has signed for Juventus according to twitter either by later today, tomorrow, the day after that, this week, next week and still nothing official. He is a club legend and I don't want him to go but how can a transfer for a 33 year old back up left back for a cheap transfer fee be so hard to complete. The hold up is either we are asking for too much or hopefully it involves a nothing player.

Barcelona have informed the entourages of Hummels, Vertonghen and Schar that they could try to sign them this summer. [md]

Hope you're comparing Van Gaal to Dale Winton DMC?

We all know Dale's affection for dicks, but we dont need any dicks at United - we already have "Youngie" and that other one.. whats his name.. oh yeah, thats right - Fani..

 Dale Winton! There's a blast from the past, his old Lottery connections could come in useful.

Bartomeu (president): "At the very least we have to replace Puyol. It's not yet decided how many more players we'll sign, but certainly two"

2 more on top of dirty Suarez, Rakatic and Bravo?
