Think we are a certainty to sign at least one Dutch player my money is on Blind (I thought he was very average and to slow but he has surprised me during the tournament and looks really capable) he would fill a lot of holes in our squad.

Giggs has this covered.

What about FFP Platini?

Don't know why any of you would be shocked by PSG and this FFP thing.

Whether this Di Maria stuff is bollocks or not, it won't be the only time they take the piss this summer.

PSG will absolutely have to sell Lucas now. There's no chance that he won't be sold. Could be a good time to get him.

They'd be earning so much money they'd be fine.

No mate not Real. I meant PSG. They've already signed Luiz for around 50 million. The reported Di Maria purchase would take them beyond 110 million. This after the sanctions and bogus 200 million per year Qatar Tourism sponsorship deals (the highest genuine deal is United-Chevrolet is about a third of that).. If Michel had any balls or integrity they should be banned for blatant flouting of the rules and undermining the objectives of FFP. Though I doubt it'll happen what with the FIFA/ UEFA politics and Qatar hosting the next World Cup. All this really shows an ugly, corrupt side to the game.

Sorry I thought you were talking about Real Madrid. There's no PSG can conform to FFP unless they sell a number of players and even then, that may not suffice.

This!

I'd happily take him. Only 21 and though he has been inconsistent has shown his class plenty of times too and fits the mould of a United type wide player who can dribble.

If we want a wide player then not that many options around anywyay. Cuadrado, Depay would be the others.

Struggles? What a whopper.

Yep, he's a gobshite.

I'm not even sure if we need another forward player, it doesn't make sense unless we're planning on shipping out quite a few of the ones we've already got. If we're going to be playing 4-3-3, which you'd expect with van Gaal, then we've got Mata, Rooney, RVP, Welbeck, Januzaj, and Valencia. That's not including Young, Hernandez, and Nani, who seem to be getting linked with a move away. There's also our own youth players like Wilson, Lingard, and Lawrence.

You forgot Kagawa too.

Just woke up top 10 pages of tweets/discussion, all about how much Vidal is ON. My cock couldn't be any harder right now.

Only Valencia there offers genuine width. Young plays on the left and cuts inside (tries to, anyway), and Nani, well, no one knows what he's doing most of the time, least of all himself. I haven't seen enough of Lingard, but don't Wilson and Lawrence play through the middle?

Players I really want United to sign this summer are Vidal and Hummel, they're the best in their positions. Di Maria can improve us us but €60m is still too much. If we sign him then good, if we don't, it won't be a big loss and van Gaal might have other targets under his radar.
