That may be the case but he's right, you obviously haven't watched Demichelis enough if you think he's shit because he most definitely isn't. He's had bad games, sure, as all players do, and they've been highlighted in big games like against Barcelona but he picked himself up and had a pretty solid season all things considered.
All things considered being the fact that he's pretty shit?

If you like I can agree that he had a decent season for a player of his limited ability and propensity to make a feck up every game?

Yep...we are in Stage 4 on here right now. What's the bet we are all heartbroken over this in the not too distant future?
I will be the odd idiot this summer ;)

I think Vidal should pretty much be in the bag.

The di Maria rumour, however, has too much of the air of the Lucas Moura transfer surrounding it, which is why I believe he'll end up at PSG. Not too fussed though, as I wanted Reus anyway. :)
Really?

Nah, and it's not because he's at City. I rate a lot of your players, certainly the ones rate worthy. Demichelis has always been a dose.

Again, it's your opinion. He had a difficult start adapting to the Premier League probably because of his injury on arrival. He was an easy target for the media because of his lack of pace. For example, at Fulham away I watched the match and he was very good yet Match of the Day did a montage at the end of the game of his errors which was ridiculous. You could make a short video from any game of any player showing their misplaced passes, fouls etc. He ended the last few months of the season as the best defender in the title winning side. He was very good. He is set to play in a World Cup final. You might not rate him, but labelling him shit is clearly not true.

Is it not a bit weird that these reports haven't really made it to England or Italy? The only promising story from England is the Paulinho to Juve story, and The Mirror say its off. Not sure if there is much coming out of Italy other than Tuttosport saying City might be in for him now.

Spanish outlet reporting on a Chilean player moving from Italy to England?

At least the Chilean outlets had the validity of a Chilean player and agent being involved!

What nationality is the agent? Serious question.

1.2 mil followers and a blue tick?

They're just using La Tercera as a source, not their own story at all.

Manchester United have agreed to the signing of Arturo Vidal. As noted by Chilean newspaper La Tercera, the agent of Juventus player, Fernando Felicevich, would have used his trip to London to further close the transfer of Barcelona player Alexis Sanchez Arsenal, negotiate the incorporation of Vidal to 'hell Reds'.

According to the report, the group will be Louis Van Gaal from this year paid Juventus 40 million euros plus transfer Patrice Evra, worth 3 million euros. Vidal had a contract until 2017 with the 'Vecchia Signora'. In the next few hours the official statement is expected.

It is my opinion. If yours differs that's fine, I'm not trying to change your mind.

It's my opinion that he's shit, and always has been. I thought he was shit before he came to the premier league, so struggling to adapt has no bearing on my opinion. Ron Vlaar was penalty kicks away from a World Cup final. He's shit too.

Will be really disappointed if we waste money on Cavani that could be better utilised on other players.

If we're looking at strikers, why not get a better one? Top dollar should come with top, top quality, which Cavani is not.

FWIW (not much I know), SkyBet have closed the Vidal market. He was 8/13 to join when they suspended it

You got it wrong.

De Brun was using the point that Woodward was prepared to pay £50m for Cavani a few months ago. Because the Sunday mirror said we think Vidal is too expensive .

Sky Bet odds mean nothing. Suspended betting just means people are buying the Twitter rumours and sticking loads of money on it, so to stop themselves losing more money they suspend betting or slash the odds.

They don't do it because they have inside information or anything like that

If Pilib de Brun isnt banned, he's tweeting some stuff.

He is indeed banned. And the stuff on his Twitter page right now is all him giving his opinion about how we can't afford to not get Vidal, etc. Nothing substantive at all.

What's he saying, in summary, of course?

He talked about the article Sunday Mirror is running tomorrow about us finding Vidal too expensive (alongside accepting that Hummels will stay at Dortmund and Di Maria will go to PSG, but he focus on Vidal).
Basically talking about how they'd get that kind of information since we haven't leaked anything to the press for weeks, then proceeding to talk about how desperate Woodward was to pay big money for Cavani and finding it strange that he'd all of a sudden find Vidal too expensive given his price would be lower.

Then also speculates why we'd leak such information in a time where we're about to announce a record breaking deal with Adidas, since it'd hurt us more not signing anyone of his caliber than the cost of signing one.

Ah, ok. Cheers mate.
