I think both De Vrij and Memphis will be announced shortly after van Gaal's arrival in Manchester. van Persie all but confirmed he won't be the only Dutch player at Manchester United.

It is strange how Evra to Juve was all done and dusted days ago yet we've heard nothing. Maybe he is part of a deal for Vidal.

Unless its Robben (which it wont be) I can't say I'm that excited by any of the other Dutch players tbh, certainly not as first teamers. I'd be happy with Blind as a squad player, but thats about it.

So we are signing a Dutch player it seems. If it isn't Robben then I ain't interested, who else is even good enough to come straight into our team? I'll admit Blind would be a good versatile squad player but anyone else other than Robben or Blind coming is pointless. We already have a lot of average squad players, we need to increase our world class talent pool which currently only consists of RVP, Rooney, Mata and De Gea.
We already have contact with Vidal's agent, he represents Angelo Henriquez.

He looks decent enough, but right now we need some genuine quality ready for the first team, not some more squad players or players who may or may not end up good enough, we have enough of those already.
There has to be something in all the Vidal speculation because Juve haven't said a word to quell all this talk and neither has his agent.

Bit different to "close to joining Manchester United", but then again, if it's true we've agreed basic personal terms, you'd assume we had permission from Juve...

Me too, he has looked very good whenever I have seen him. Bar the ridiculous performances of Vlaar in the past couple of games, De Vrij is the best of the bunch.
