Don't mean to be horrible but sniffing out the bullshitters isn't exactly difficult. Honestly this thread is like when my 3 year old nephew picks up a pile of shit from the floor and runs over to his mum and asks "Is this food mummy?" No, it fecking isn't.

If we asked for his medical records it would definitely suggest we'd had permission off the player.

It would be just our luck to bring in a world class midfielder with something wrong with one of his knees. Who do we have scouting our targets? Derek Trotter? I just want a world class midfield again. Is that to much to ask?

All the reports are that we're doing our due diligence and are making sure we know all about his knee before buying.

In a way hearing that actually makes me happy.

Clearly we had someone with no clue conducting the medical for Hargreaves so we don't wanna get stung twice.

No chance of City even thinking about Vidal unless they know Yaya is definitely leaving. And if he was definitely leaving he'd have been sure to tell everyone about it.

Classic case of dumb ignorant journos making stuff up to incite more intrigue without thinking it through.

Seems a strange way to make a rambling multi tweet less rambly, but I'm sure there are reasons!

Its just annoying to have 4 tweets in one post. Where does it stop then, 10 tweets in one post ? 20 ? Its better to limit it so whatever is being said is more easily digested.

Potential sales of Nastasic, Garcia, Rodwell, Milner and Guidetti would allow us to fund a move.

Not for Vidal.

Get next to nothing for Garcia, Rodwell, Milner and Guidetti, and it would be mental to sell Nastasic. Even if you sold all five, you'd be lucky to recoup £25m. They're all on such high wages that clubs can't afford to go for them unless they get a discounted transfer fee.

The only real asset City have at the moment is Negredo, but as with Nastasic it would be mental to sell him given Aguero's injury history.

But having four consecutive posts by the same poster would be even more annoying. Sometimes tweets are broken up into 2-3 parts; makes things neater if they're all in the same post. Maybe keep the limit to something like 4 tweets per post?

Ok, sure.

Doubt he'd even choose City over us in the unlikely event they pitched up late on, can't see them paying a larger fee, or more in wages.

They should keep Yaya, and his highly amusing agent.

I see where you're coming from, but if the tweet is split up would it not be easier read if it was kept in one post, instead of part 1, a few more posts, part 2, a few more posts, part 3, a few more posts, etc etc?

Different tweets about entirely different things, 100% agree they should be split, but for a tweet that's been split due to character limits surely it would be easier read and digested in one post.

Just my take anyway, your call obviously.

Hopefully we've wrapped the deal up by the time you've managed to finalise most of your departures.

extra English players limitation? Can't say I recall that as part of the punishment
Memory is a little hazy now, but IIRC part of it was that you had to have a well above standard percentage of your CL squad as homegrown.

At the start of the summer, there were stories that Arsenal had a deal for Milner, some even saying he'd play right back instead of Sagna, but you cancelled it as you need more homegrown players.

So basically Juve will get Paulinho and £12m odd? That seems like a fecking awful deal, which tells me it's bollocks.
