Suddenly i'm not so keen on Vidal now. It's a lot of money for someone with a dodgy knee and can't play enough games because of it. United's medical staff have to get this absolutely right

He looked fine at the World Cup. His energy levels were immense after such a short recovery. But you're right we must make sure we don't buy a crock.

Pastore really isn't good enough.

Pastore's quality tbh, just hasn't worked out for him at PSG aside from the first few months because he's been played out of position.

He's not got a dodgy knee that keeps him out all the time, it was just one injury before the WC.

I'd take Vidal in his current position over Fellaini, Cleverley, Anderson and Fletcher.
That is the kind of mess our CM is in

That's because he was on injections everyday and before games in the World Cup, isn't it? Not sure if we are going to do that to him everytime if he's going to be our player

Most of the times I have seen him he has been poor. If he's playing out of position then fair enough, however I just see him as a bit of a nothing player at times. He should really move if he's being played out of position, that can't be good for him.

If there is any doubt about Vidal's injury, then we need to pass.

We have to be 100% sure on this one.

feck sake, can we sort this thread out please? There's been nothing of much use for pages and pages now.

Post some Tweets then, or give your opinion on the Tweets / posts, & stop trying to get folk banned with posts like that. You've only posted 12 times in this thread, yet you roll in as if all the posters work for you, or some weird controlling shit like that

Bizarre!

They're not a great club is my point - neither is City..

Their success/status is recent & down to new money - not because of their history of greatness..

Cant believe i'm having this conversation to be honest!

This

They are not a great club and players will only go there for the money, if a player is ONLY interested in the money, he will go to PSG, if that is the case we don't want that kind of player
PSG will not win the CL anytime in the near future

So are these reports implying that we want to look at his knee before we submit an offer? Would we not just check it when he's having a medical?
Exactly, RVN failed a medical didn't he, but we still bought him later after he well and truly injured himself. We should be in for Vidal, if he wants to come he will then have a medical. If it is a major problem the transfer will fail, if it is a nothing injury it will go ahead.

Yes, there is a difference between buying a player for ridiculous money just because he's a big name or the new kid on the block, or just for the sake of it, and building a squad with the right credentials to rival the giants of Europe and compete with them. They will never be as great as Marseille for example.

Considering his age, fees/Wages involved we'll be extra careful.

RVN didn't fail a medical exactly. We delayed our interest as he broke his leg IIRC.

Those CheGaievara tweets about Vidal - theres loads of them. Probably best to have them all on snow in one place.

It must do your head in listening to all this big club status shite that PSG have bought?

Most of the folk i know, never even knew PSG had only won 2 leagues before the oil money. They thought they'd been around for ever because of the hype.

Lyon hadnt won a Ligue 1 Championship until 2002, where they then won 7 in a row. They're a bigger club.

I'd say many around the world dont even know that City had only won 2 league titles before the oil money came in also, funnily enough - at the same time as PSG's in 2011.

City have pretty much the same list of honours aswell:

Leagues

First Division (1889–1992)/Premier League (1993–present)[86]
Cups
European

Massive difference between being an actual big club & an oil rich / new money one!

Is CheGiaevara similar to Sport Witness? i.e. translates on foreign transfer reports? Or does he reckon to be ITK himself as well?

I don't get the big thing about di marzio - he's as hit and miss as the rest.

He is lot more reliable than the rest.

Among the most reliable ones who do stories early, if not the most reliable i have come across. (i.e not Sky/BBC who do it much later usually.) Yeah, he misses too and probably makes some things up from time to time but he breaks so many exclusive stories across countries first and gives details as well during transfers.

He's a Utd fan - does some translation work for sport witness. Doesn't proclaim to be itk.

I don't think he is. In fact, most Italian journos are the same - they'll have you believe there is no chance juve, inter etc will sell any of their top players.

I could be wrong, but think he injured his knee before the WC, rather than him having an on-going knee problem Sata - same as Suarez & Ronnie..

Marseille would be considered the biggest club in France but they're in a bit of poor state at present
PSG were always a bit of a joke before the money came
St Etienne Nantes Bordeaux Reims and even Monaco have much more history until Lyon won their 7 in a row in the 2000's

He broke the Evra transfer when no one was reporting or beleiving it saying Juve had offered him a contract to give 1 example and has been following through that since.

Broke Vidic to inter as well. Guardiola to Bayern when no one else was (Not even the german media).

These just top of my head few examples he's broken and many more. Was viewing a Sunderland forum earlier and even there they all beleive he has had very high accuracy for Sunderland deals before. Marcos Alonso, Mannone, Even Poyet etc..

There are different level of reporters and no one is 100% accurate but he would amongst the head of the queue.
