I dont think we'll be hearing any fresh news or developments until next week when the WC ends and LvG joins up with the club.. So we gotta wait till then I guess and bear with all this recycled and made up stories..
Which bigger clubs though ? I don't think he is good enough for a club aiming for top 4 right now atleast.
Maybe a more mid tablish club could have bid for him but depends on relative needs.
Looking at the table, I'd say he'd comfortably get in the Villa, Hull, Newcastle, QPR, Southampton, Stoke, Sunderland, Swansea, WBA & West Ham teams.

Vidal and di Maria would be unreal but I'm just waiting for the story where we cut ties due to the asking price and move onto other targets.
It doesn't get more obvious than this that we have stopped briefing these journos, all they say whenever there seems to be a concrete/reliable link from a newspaper, they come out with the same bullshit that we are waiting/monitoring so that it keeps them on the fence, if it happens they would be like we told you they were monitoring the situation, if it doesn't then they will be like they evaluated their situation and went for other targets etc.

If these rumors are true, and we get to sign one of Di Maria or Vidal, i am willing to bet on it that it will be a local newspaper, or Italian sources etc or Spanish sources just like the Herrera transfer to reveal it first, and then the rest will all just jump on the bandwagon.
