I didn't call him a young player with great potential.

My big problem is that if we sold Cleverley, Fellaini and Anderson we're down to just Carrick and Herrera. I'd want to therefore keep at least one, if not two, of them, and in order Cleverley > Fellaini > Anderson.

For Cleverley see Fletcher's and Marchisio's career's. He can be similar.

He's good enough to be a squad player right now and can get better at a similar age to when they did.

If he doesn't then sell him in 2/3 years when we have other players. No point doing it right now.

Unless the last one has taken to ITK transfer dealings (and they'd actually be brilliant at it, after all they'd know) then it's pure crap if neither Zouma nor Pogba has said anything.
 
I'm sure Pogba does want to join Chelsea. Who wouldn't want to be paid a million quid a month to live in London and play a bit of football?

Never said you did, but its a remark that gets said about Cleverely too much!

We only have Carrick (if he gets his form back) & Herrera as our quality CM's. My CM plan would be to get rid of Cleverely, Anderson & Fellaini.. and replace them this window. Not gonna happen though - even though Ed said we're minted & gonna spend..

We might have the money but who is available? Seriously, if we take that we need 5 options, as we currently do, show me three options which we could realistically get by the end of this window. This does not include Vidal, and I'm not convinced he's a realistic target anyway.

Nah I'm just messing. He'll be a talented nomad, just like Ibrahimovic, Balotelli, and whoever else is Raiola's plaything.

Carvalho or Khedira, Strootman (he'll be fit Oct/Nov allegedly), 3rd choice could be taking a punt on young Clasie..

Koke & Veratti sadly dont seem to be realistic options as 3rd choice!

Cleverley is better than Clasie and if the 10m/year are true Khedira can't be a 3rd option

I think the three main targets we're linked with are just unavailable at the moment.

Vidal - He's just finished his WC a week ago. He's out on holiday with his family. We can't do much till he's back. (Though Alexis Sanchez was signed
Di Maria - He's still at the WC
Hummels - He's still at the WC

Any other Dutch player is still at the WC.

Basically, we're going to have to wait at least two weeks for deals to go through.
