Yep, very bitter comment to make. If they were ordinary, your team was shit Marc. He's an ordinary manager. In fact, is there any proof he is any good at all?
what a shite statement to make, he's an ordinary manager
Well they had the lead, the incentive was on Belgium to do something. Argentina was comfortable throughout and were 1-0 up so why would they change? In the end it's about the result and not how they win the game. For club football you can expect good football along with winning, but internationals it's all about winning. He's right though. Argentina bore the complete shit out of me too..

Wilmots was probably asked whether he was impressed by Argentina or whether they can win the World Cup etc..?
And he is being honest.
Wov, if Argentina is an ordinary team what does that makes Belgium and Wilmots..?
LvG could be the biggest signing of the lot.People need to calm down wrt our signings and spending. Our managers not even started yet & most players are still either on holiday or some still at the WC.
Yet there's a couple of meltdowns already with how much were spending and who we signing.
Herrera, Shaw, maybe Vermaelen & most importantly LVG are already a huge signal of intent!
He's an ordinary manager though.
Yep, absolutely. He could probably have taken our team as it was last season & make them challenge for top 4. (I'm not saying top 4 but make us challenge).LvG could be the biggest signing of the lot.

Wilmots did all right, Belgium's team is still relatively young and I think they will do better at the 2018 world cup. He needs to give credit to Argentina though.
Earlier it was mentioned about Everton having Jack Rodwell back. So, they ruined him, let them have him back. Will they give Ross back when he has gone down the same road.
Hang on, last season not making top 4 was unthinkable after strolling the league the year before.
So I think top managers would definitely have got us top 4.
Your post is like Moyes-apologist propaganda!

Absolutely, or when LVG (who's already cancelled any holiday) is officially available he could personally talk to & convince some targets of his vision & ideas etc.Yep. I think it's a good thing if i'm honest. Look at the quality sides still in, with Chile only just out. Herrera and Shaw could be wrapped up since they were both available, who's to say we're not talking to the representatives of someone still playing?
This guy sounds like a clown. What about Belgium's hoofball then?
Someone summed it up quite well though RHD. International or most 6-7 match tournaments for that reason, is all about results. There's no point in being the most entertaining side but getting nowhere.Do you actually rate this Argie team?

Wrt to your specific point - this Argie side has been much poorer then the 1 who through qualifiers & especially sides of the past. But they're making progress and if they suddenly hit some form & blast their way to the title - the group games aren't going to matter much. In the bigger scheme of things, neither Brazil, the Germans or the Dutch (since the first game) have been amazing this World Cup. It's been one of those WC's.
Costa Rica, Chile, France, Colombia & Algeria have probably been some of the most entertaining teams.
Bang average for me. Messi and a couple of other decent players, but a few square pegs in round holes.
Too many players hiding and waiting for Messi to turn it on - and Di Maria will be a miss if he's out for the rest of the tournament.
