My money is still on signing Pogba - can Woodward make it happen? I guess we have more chance of signing Pogba (considering we are not in champions league) then Vidal. Vidal is 27(?) I think he would like to be competing for champions league, Pogba is still young and has time on his side. Also Pogba is a good long term investment.

God loves an optimist - you'll go far on here mucker :)

Gaitan to someone else? How could it be? No way! He signed for us about 10 times already.

Monaco - such a strange little club.

I've been to the stadium tour & it was empty, but there was more people on the tour than there is on match-day. Its like a feckin library apparantly. You can hear the players break wind & rich cnuts arguing over who's got the bigger Yacht from the harbour..

Why a player would choose to play soccer-ball there is beyond me.. Oh yeah - because they can wipe their arses with €100 notes in the dressing room toilets. Rich f*ckers

I am surprised that we have not seen any concrete offers for all the players mentioned and with all the clubs involved.

What club in the world is gonna accept this:

Pogba i don't think will come back to united. Yes, SAF is no longer there and thats who Pogba had an issue with but I can't see it happen. The kid has been a sensation but he now has become "the one who got away" for United. If woody does pull it off...well in that case i would change my opinion on him.

Just saw Bastian on tv.. Is that deal off?

Bastian to United? Think if there is any truth to the rumour, he's probably now back-up option to Vidal.

Hasn't been any more reports on Schweinsteiger for a while now.

I'd like to hear Andy Mittens take on the signings after all its sorted to be honest & whether Ed deserves the kudos etc.

I'm hopin Ed went full muppet, but i have my doubts - due the Glazers stating they were takin a more hands-on approach during this window, so there's no f*ck-ups this time round etc. I've a funny feeling that we're using "super-agents" and the like, to sort out the more complicated negotiations in Europe.. United have done that numerous times & it makes sense not to slow down the process of gettin multiple players in at the same time..

Time will tell i guess if Ed's been shit-hot in all of this!

Im not sure about the "super-agents" but i do agree with you. This is a big window for EW. He needs it to be anyway.

Until he comes back - he still remains a pr*ck for leaving ;)

After everything he's said about the club, about SAF and the general way he's acted since leaving, why on earth would you think it's possible he'd come back?

Also don't think we'd allow ourselves to look like mugs paying £60m or whatever for a player we let go.

Rooney, he said and done things to get new contract. Some of us wanted hime gone but on both occasions he signed a new contract. What players say or do if he is wanted by a club, they make a patch and move on. We are all disappointed with what he said or the way he left, but if we sign hime and he puts a brilliant performance against Liverpool or City - it will be all forgotten.
Also, his agent clearly hinting on possible transfer talks after the World Cup:

"We have decided not to speak of the transfer market with regards to Paul until after the World Cup,' Pogba's agent Mino Raiola said to Italian TV station Rai Sport. 'But I can calmly say that his future will still be at Juventus, where he feels very happy."

I think if media reports are correct and we do have £150-£200m transfer budget then spending £60m on Pogba does make sense. Just like Shaw/Herrera he is young and a good long term investment.
