There's also been reports that Kroos spoke to LVG. Honestly think we were still keen on signing him but his preference was for another club and Madrid fits that bill.
There are countless reports saying we had agreed to sign him only for LvG to veto the deal.
If we get Vidal then no one will care or even remember Kroos. Kroos is a world class brilliant midfielder, but there are still many other midfielders we can buy, Kroos isn't the only one.
He probably rejected us.
Boggles the mind when people say our wide options don't need strengthening. 2 midtable, 1 dimensional players at best, one who's constantly injured and even when isn't, is inconsistent, then a 19 year old who has played 1 season of professional football. We are in dire needing of a winger overhaul IMO, just like the midfield needed one.Have you seen our wide options?!
Maybe this is why we aren't pushing for Sanchez?
I don't understand why Bayern are letting him go in the first place. He's arguably their best player and you got to break the bank to keep a guy like that.
Perhaps they don't believe he is that good? Or perhaps they would rather not bow to players demanding better contracts/more playing time? They do run a tight ship.I don't understand why Bayern are letting him go in the first place. He's arguably their best player and you got to break the bank to keep a guy like that.

Well like I said, they probably don't believe he is as good as me and you believe he is. They have Thiago who is as good as him and it is believed that they will try and replace Kroos with Vidal. That would explain their stance regarding Kroos.didn't they pay Pep a record amount of money to coach them? I wonder why a manager should be paid more than his best player.
Pep wants him to stay. Kroos doesn't want to because Bayern won't agree to his wage demands. He's not leaving because Pep doesn't want him. He's leaving because of money.I don't buy the Kroos isn't good enough for Pep talk. He started almost every game under Pep, including every single big game. Surely if Pep didn't think he was good enough, he would have dropped him at some point. Even when Thiago was fit, Kroos was still always in that midfield.
Of course Kroos is good enough for Pep. But the Bayern board obviously don't think his worth the money he demands, they put their offer on the table and he obviously rejected. And he did get dropped for a few games after his little spat after being subbed off against Stuggart I think it was.I don't buy the Kroos isn't good enough for Pep talk.
