Tug Woody, TUG!

Last time he bit I thought he'll do it again and that'll be the end of it, but now I'M SURE, if he does it again he'll get a lifetim
Sign up Herrera, agree deal for Shaw, see the biggest cnut in football banned for four months.

Okayish day, I guess

If ever there was a day Natalie Portman would come over with a six pack this would be it........

With Herrera signed and Shaw really close I think we need a CB, another CM and a LW/RW.
I am hoping for Hummels, Vidal and Sanchez. Unlikely but I'm in a positive mood.

But wouldn't adding another winger cause even more problems for the front four than we've already got? I mean we've already got Welbeck, Rooney, Mata, Kagawa and Januzaj competing for three positions. Add another name to that list and it just causes more issues. Kagawa may yet leave, fair enough, and Januzaj can probably be rotated as he's still young and I don't see him kicking up a fuss about that, but I can't imagine Rooney, Mata or Welbeck leaving and I don't think any of them will be happy being rotated, so what's the solution here?

I hope we have a signing or two for the later parts of the window. We dont want all the excitement to end too early!

Its better laughing at other clubs at deadline in a relaxed mood. I'm pretty sure Wenger will get booed atleast once, Odemwingie will be traveling and Harry will have his window down on the Range Rover.

Not a muppet I see. We are never happy with what we have. We always want one more signing.

I just think next year we'll know ifJones works, we'll know if Rafael can have a good season, if Mata, Rooney, RVP + Januzaj can work as a unit. I'd rather we kept cash in reserve for this. We 'only' have to build a team good enough for a domestic campaign right now, there's no rush.

If it was me, I would play a 4-2-3-1.

----------------------------------De Gea/Lindegaard

--------Rafael/Varela----Hummels/Smalling----Jones/Evans----Shaw/Evra

------------------------Herrera/Cleverley------Vidal/Carrick

------------Januzaj/Valencia---------Mata/Kagawa---------Sanchez/Zaha

-------------------------------v.Persie/Welbeck/Hernandez

I would sell Rooney and Fellaini. I don't think they fit in. I know it is unlikely but that is how I would go about it.

Somebody got to go then....Nani? Welbeck? Rooney? Cleverly? Felaini?
Nani/Young/Cleverley/Fellaini/Fletcher/Kagawa/Hernandez are all expendable. Kagawa has quality but he's not better then Mata so won't start, and he's good enough to be starting at a big club. Don't think he'll go but everyone else I can realistically see being sold, or most of them at least (obviously not all the mids).

Damn if we got Carvalho as well it would be an amazing summer. That would be enough.

Yup, only people with massive agenda against Büttner were retarded enough to draw conclusions that he's trying to insult us. He's shown nothing but huge respect for United when he was here, some people just like to watch the world burn.

All the best to him.
Im happy if we stopped at another CM.

No we need another CB at least

He doesn't even know if he's still got a job let alone who we are signing
You really don't think he'd be at least as informed as the journalists that we trust? He is best mates with the assistant manager for one thing, regardless of his status at the club.

Carvalho looked worse than Phil Jones on the ball today.

The more I've seen from him the less convinced I am about him. Initially I thought he could potentially be a young Yaya Toure or be developed that way.

If we can't get Vidal or Martinez or Schweinsteiger, I'd be happy with getting him, but not at some extortionate price.

Only caught the first half but I can say with absolute conviction that Jones has never dictated play as intelligently and effectively as Carvalho did in those 45 minutes and I doubt he ever will.

Phil probably has an idea of the targets United was after under Moyes. It's not like Shaw was just van Gaal's transfer, they've probably been working on that one for a while, Herrera too. Two of the first transfers were two players Moyes identified, so Phil would probably have a rough idea of who Woody and Moyes were going to persue

You sure you was watching the right game? Carvalho was poor for us today, was great when he came on against USA though.

I'm pretty confident we are not interested in carvalho anymore, there seems to be a distinct style to the type of player LVG has been briefing on. All sign strongly point towards Vidal. If you look at Herrera he is a hybrid player, defensive and attacking yet skillful with a sharp pass and a Spanish approach. Kroos and carvalho would have been an formidable partnership in the middle but lack a certain class. But possess other strengths. Shaw again a hybrid player much like Evra an attacking full back.

Carvalho is indeed a great distributor but his strengths lie in a defensive role and he doesn't tend to get around the pitch into attacking positions so much as someome like Vidal that does and has the ability to finish plus most importantly I'd prefer Vidal
