Meh, Mitten has been off form this summer. Seems like he's been blagging things because he doesn't actually have any inside info.

Harsh.

He's a prick but usually he's reliable. Got all the details on Rojo transfer absolutely correct for example.

Great. Jamie jackson also deserves to be on the list.

This. I know he writes for the Guardian but he gets so much wrong. He said that the Rojo deal was being held up by complications and an hour later we confirmed the deal! Also said there were no plans for Di Maria to fly into Manchester today and lo and behold he turns up at Carrington this evening.

Waiting for Breaking - reports in Italy - United make offer for Arturo Vidal.

Come on it's not that hard. If you do I'll be the bestest man united fan in the world, promise

I totally believe we'll sign a few more by this time next week. Bring us Vidal and a centre half. Ed has made a believer out of me. Go get 'em you bald headed bastard.

Castles provides nothing and seems an abu on top of it. If we include him, we should also be including the like of Phillip De Bruns and others who have spammed up this thread in the past.

It's nothing new. He always seems wishy-washy and non-committal it's just that he's hyped to high heavens as some kind of oracle for some reason.

With all this spending, where does the debt sit? I know with all our deals of late we will be able to pay it long term, but is our spending in the last 12 months covered by our revenue?

Yeah, each transfer will be ammortized over number of years so our profits will cover it comfortably.

I doubt we plan on being debt free for a while anyway. We can afford the interest payments and will only buy bonds slowly and just refinance.

Phillip De Bruns should not be in that list at all. He has been backed by a variety of reputable journalists (I can give you the evidence) as he has connetions with Man utd.

However, if you are going to put him in the black-list, at least put a condition inthere i.e only post transfer related tweets from Phillip De Bruns. No opinions.

Fair?

Sounds good to me.

Let's not call him "Ballbag" now. He's been a champ throughout all this. The guy was so chuffed with the breaking of the news, as if he was a United fan for a week.

Yeah, it's not breaking though  he said it in a video. He also said that he's not heard anything from his usual United sources though.
Mitten also repeatedly called him Danny Blind.

What does this mean ? Are these figures supposed to be higher or lower than expected ?

About bang on the forecast.

It'll be next years figures that will be dragged down due to no CL, but the Chev deal will counter some of that, if we get CL this season, then the figures for the year after will be huge as the Adidas deal will be included.

According to Forbes our revenue last year was £363 M. Compare it to that.

I'm too lazy to check our official financial records.

edit: that huge increase and the Adidas deal hasn't even started to kick in yet!

My fantasy football team strikes again
Welbeck or Hernandez would be great for Arsenal right now.

It means that we made a huge amount of money, and like someone else said, made a lot more then the prior season as well. We're allowed to spend so much (140m pretty much this window) and sell nobody because of the outrageous amount of revenue we create.
If you look at all the other big teams who have spent a lot, they're net spends aren't anything crazy. We've spent more then them without selling anyone and we're still fine with ffp even if we make more signings.
