Rojo is a muppet just like most of us.

Just awful. Completely improper numbering. Di Maria as a number 9? He's not a goalscoring centre-forward. Vidal as a number 7 is even worse, any player in the centre of the park shouldn't be allowed an odd number like 7, that's exclusively winger or striker territory.

Poor effort.

Er....Bryan Robson?

Let him go out on loan for the season. Being first choice striker will do him a world of good, more then he could get by being a squad player here.

David McDonnell wrote the article. Could be something in it. LVG wants a 20 man squad and if we're buying more players, would make sense to let quite a few leave.

Would be nice to see some actual signs of that though before shoving players out the door. We're struggling for a defence or a midfield currently which is why letting others players leave seems so preposterous.

Looking like a big if that players being plural

Stories like this only emphasise how long we are on numbers, but short on actual top level quality. At the moment our midfielders are

Mata
Adnan
Kagawa

for the position behind the strikers

Carrick
Herrera
Fletch

for the two deeper midfield spots and

Powell
Fellaini
Cleverley
Anderson

looking relatively likely to leave this summer. Then you're down to the likes of Lingard who might play elsewhere and Lawrence who could probably do with a decent loan. Without a midfielder (or even two) it doesn't look ideal.

Would rather loan them out than sell so we have more options for next season IF we get back into the CL.

Completely. He'd come back next summer with just a year left on his contract, probably unlikely to sign a new one and therefore, available at a knockdown price.

So, who cares? Is it about the money or the football? Maybe if he has a good year, next season things can be different for him at United if Van Gaal believes in him enough.

If van Gaal believed in him, he wouldn't be loaning him out or selling him now when we're struggling. He isn't a 19 year old kid going out to get experience.

If he's letting him go, even on loan,it's because van Gaal thinks he has no future with us. Just like Nani or Fellaini if he goes on loan.
