Time is going so slowly. want to see Nani holding that green and which strip top.
So whoever said that yesterday was right by the look of things.
Does anyone want to help me go over the entire transfer window once it has closed so we can pick out the people who are worth following, and who got deals right? Maybe do a thread for it?
Just a thought.
So yet another player uses our name to try and get themselves a new contract.
I hope we get a cut from all these new contracts.
I wasn't the one complaining about it in the first place so there's no hypocrisy there but anyway..
re: Vidal imo. Juventus are waiting for us to make an offer. Sections of Italian media are suggesting that it makes more sense for juve if they sell vidal as they can use the money to strengthen other areas of the team.
so what are we waiting for?
possible reasons cited in the media:
- lvg is not convinced about the price and vidal's knee
- we are waiting fir Vidal to force a move (something which seems unlikely)
- woody is convinced that leaving it to the last minute increases the chances if getting a better price.
in the meantime, until some sort of agreement is reached, we publicly will maintain the stance that we are not interested
Maybe we just try to be too clever for our good trying to angle for a lower fee. If it's comes off great but if that's what's we've been doing, my guess is that it's more likely to cost us more times than helping us.
I do find it odd the amount of players we've been linked to this summer where it's been noted that there has been sweet F.A. regarding what we're doing about them. No offers/no contact etc etc.
It's that odd, I'm having a hard time believing that we could be that stupid.
The whole saga is starting to get tedious now though. Just gotta wait and see I suppose.

Not confusing at all - Glazers happy to see rumours linking the club with good players, makes the fans think we are actually in for them when the reality is the complete opposite.

true, at times i m inclined to believe some weird theories about woody being behind stories about our supposed interest in top players in order to keep the club in news (bad news is better than no news at all)

UK are on British Summer Time at the moment, an hour ahead.
Ok maybe not, thought they were the same time zone as the UK. Spain are 1 hour in front (although they shouldn't be) and Portugal are the same time zone EDIT: is what I thought.
