Having just watched the interview its clear to see that Fergie is lying through his back teeth over Sneijder. Wily old bugger. Something is definitely happening people.

I think he meant that Berbatov could single-handedly destroy Paris.

Was easy to understand the question but the way Sir Alex answered it with a smile he may have dodged the question of whether Berbatov is leaving.

"Could Berbatov play with Paris?"

"Yes. Absolutely, no problem"

All that really means is Berbatov could play in the Paris St. Germain team/style, it doesnt mean he's being sold

La Gazzetta - Sneijder makes his decision on future on Sunday. Everything sorted by Monday. #MCFC apparently in the picture.

It really does appear Inter will sell. They've not been strong over their stance. It's more 'hope' than anything from them. Down to Sneijder

Been told again that there is no deal in place between #Inter and #MUFC or with #Sneijder - nothing has changed this week

@howardnurse There is, however, the possibility that things may be going on and you're not aware of it.
@howardnurse My point is, things 'may' be happening but the people you speak to may not know about it, thus neither may you... Fair?

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

how about they both jump off a cliff and see who lands first?

He's a fecking retard. He's basically just calling United up and asking them isn't he. They're hardly gonna go 'yeah a deal is in place' are they.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at City. Mancini said they still needed a midfielder and a winger when they signed Aguero, and I assume they plan on using Nasri on the wing if they get him.

It's not like they will tell him anything, Editor of the BBC rings up and asks about the Sniejder transfer, that everyone wants to keep quiet, there not excatly going to tell him of all people.

They are after Alessio Cerci who is a right winger i.e the winger they want.

I thought the whole point was that Nasri doesn't want to play on the wing?

That's certainly one story in the papers. Personally I think he doesn't really care as long as he gets enough money.

Although KM is probably right that they have other wingers in their sights. I see them linked with Lennon now.

I heard that, a swop deal (which never happens) with Adebayor, I know Spurs need a decent striker, but they'd be loony to go for that one...

Just to stir things up a little...

IF Sneijder joined City and we signed Nasri, would people be happy rather than it being the other way around?

If we end up with Young, de Gea, Jones and anyone of Nasri and Sneijder...I would be very happy if you told me that mid-may. Esp as Cleverley and Welbeck now is pushing for a first-team spot. We have never looked stronger in terms of the squad - if we get one of Nasri or Sneijder

I again hold doubt to whether Sneijder would leave Inter to join City. There is nothing there other then money. There is no prestige for playing with City and Manchester isn't Milan so other then money, it's worth very little to players like him. Players like Aguero, Balotelli, Silva, Tevez will always be drawn to City for the simple fact, they either aren't being looked at by the big big team ala Silva and Aguero, or they're diabolically stupid like Balotelli and Tevez. It's no wonder that the stupid ones want to leave and the Spanish imports are treated like shit. The likes of Toure's are simply looking at big pay days before they retire.

A lot of players that sign for City are interested in becoming part of something new and upcoming. They want to write the history, so I have to disagree with you there on that.
